Hey Guys! I've been busy for awhile, but recently found my way back to creating. I wanted to share this latest creation I made! It's the first time I've worked with tuning (even if it was just to add a couple of lines to OM's tuning ). Base game, 2878 polys. I hope you guys like it! See more images here. I really appreciate you guys here at Sims4studio! Enjoy and Happy Simming! #surface #sculpture

Hey forgottenbytime! Welcome to sims 4 studios! I'm not sure I will have a solution to your problem yet, but it would be helpful if you could post a picture or 2 of your dilemma? That way people could see what your exact problem is and may be able to help you better achieve what you want. I think a lot of people here use Gimp (Including me - I love it) so I don't think that will be an issue. Glad you're here! Stop by and introduce yourself if you'd like in the Studio community section

Hello, my friends! I had requests that my Billy bookcases be narrowed to fit one tile, since they were a bit difficult to place. Got around to it today. They are now all exactly (more or less) one tile wide. The narrow version you may still may need “bb.moveobjects on” to place, but it is half a tile wide. These are new meshes (or mesh edits) so they are independent files. You can have the wider version and the one-tile versions together in your game or one or the other. Up to you! Hope you get some use out of these! Enjoy and Happy Simming!!! #storage #Billy bookcase #one tile width

Hey Bugattiman253mph ! Remove doubles like this in blender: Sometimes, when you are meshing (especially if you are like me ), you may end up with more than one vertex at the same point from an extra extrusion or so. Maybe with a conversion not so much, since you don't always mess with the geometry itself. But it can be a good idea to remove those pesky extras. Be careful if you have an Edge split modifier since it will remove the effect, so you'd have to add that back in (I think). Good luck with your project!

Hey again guys! I've come a long way on my bathroom set and have worked my way into bathtub territory. Bathtubs are different than other meshes it seems. I thought I had the different mesh groups figured out, and it works fine in the game, but the texture looks strange. Here are some pics: I redid my mapping but that didn't fix it. So now I am at a loss. Does anyone have time to look at my mesh and see what I have goofed up this time? Here's the files

Now I'm spamming my own thread! :P It's fixed! I went back to the original mesh and copied it into the hutch mesh again.I think I had redone it so many times that I had mixed up some of the failed tried in with the new try, if you know what I mean. Anyway, it worked. Now I just have to figure out how to change the hutch into a wall sculpture (hope there's a tut for that ) No really, is there a way to do that? ...

Oh my goodness, freeasabird - I'm sorry - I think I've forgotten how to use dropbox :D Try this link here instead. I thought that my problem actually looked as though it had something to do with the cut numbers of the mesh, but I will definitely take a look at what you suggested.

Hello again A few days ago I submitted a post about plants on planes. Well, after making my mesh, I spent 2 days trying to finding a game object to base it on that had the right types of textures and alpha stuff to work with, since I had tried this tutorial and ended up like this: . I finallly used the Carina Dining Hutch. I don't know if that has anything to do with why my mesh looks like this in s4s: And like this in game: Have I angered the studio gods? Please, I want to be friends again! You can get my blender file and package file here (link disabled), if it helps.

Yes, orangemittens, THIS is what I was thinking about doing - I just didn't understand how to - Hopefully, I can do it now - thanks for the tip phyre , you did not confuse me - you actually made clear what I was thinking and for that I thank you But I do call it all a "UV map" like OM was saying And @stevenssimsstuff , thanks for the peptalk :D - I'll just keep pluggin' away and when I come up with something pretty, I'll post it on my studio. Thanks, Ya'll!
