How does one simply use an animation for mermaids AS A MERMAID? Whenever i use an animation, my sim doesn't change into a mermaid, thus the animation looks weird...

Ty for providing the links. I appreciate it. I have actually been looking at the retargeting tutorial videos on youtube but i don't understand most of them and it's not sims related, so i wouldn't know if it worked or not. Tbh you're gonna be the first person to actually write a tutorial on how to do the retargeting to sims 4. most popular converters don't even make tutorials and google has no results, so really, tysm for this opportunity! in the meantime, imma go ahead and make a video with your conversion of smart car xDDD

7umpa has retired from Sims 3/4, judging by his inactive blogspot. You might try to ask the other YouTubers about the process, though, but I for myself had no luck.
Though I'm currently in the process of learning how to convert MMD Dances to The Sims 4, with varied success. I'm still in the beginning, though, so I can't provide any help right now.
But converting MMD Animations is indeed a very time-consuming, tedious process which not many MMD users have knowledge off, not to forget that it can be very error-prone, as it happened in my posted threads earlier.
Hey, I’ve seen your videos! I’m Anjalele on YouTube. I hope that you could tell me the process perhaps? I’m sorry guys for acting this way. I was immature at the time of writing my posts XD

Hi. Hats are made the same way any other CAS item would be. - start a new package by cloning a base game hat. There are 2 types of hats. Some are placed higher on the head, others lower. Make sure to start from the one that is placed the way you want your new mesh to be. Export and open the blend. - go on youtube and google "blender hat modeling". There are all types of hats there. - once done, follow this tutorial , but use your original hat mesh as a reference. These hats interact with hairstyles, so make sure to place your hat on the head just where the original mesh is. Otherwise, there will be gaps or the hair will poke out of the hat. oh i actually meant a helmet, but yeah i've gone as far as tryina assign the helmet to the bone, yet it won't be rigged even though the helmet is red... could you check my .blend and see if there is anything wrong? sta.sh/0pht38c93fu
