Hello again! I always get such excellent help from this forum so I'm back with another little problem I've ran into. So I converted a car and I want to keep the transparency of the glass windows so I cloned a new object from Sims4Studio "The Ghastly Ghostly Gnome". Imported just the LODs 1 and 2 to test and everything was perfect, so I moved on to do the shadow LODs and got this: The solid parts are now transparent like the windows and I'm not sure where to begin fixing this. Can anyone help me please?

I understand and agree, it would be much easier if the foreign program had a pose that was the same or at least similar to that of the Sims4 default one. But no such luck finding one so this is my second try. Here is the blend file with the arms at the position of the foreign pose. I assumed just changing the rig in Blender would suffice, however the arms look a MESS in game. www.simfileshare.net/download/1023135/

I know it seems miniscule, but it's a pain having to alter the meshes I convert because the arms are posed slightly lower in S4S. Therefore I have to fuss with the sleeves every time I convert a shirt.
I read something on here about a Rig override, but I didn't quite understand.

Basically I would like to somehow tweak the way a mesh is exported/imported by changing the position of the arms like this: Is that possible to do?

You are an angel !!! Your suggestion worked and I'm good to go now, thank you so much!!! That's crazy that I've never utilized the vertex paint part of Blender until now

Hello everyone who is reading this! I'm far from a newbie when it comes to converting clothing, however I just recently discovered the ability to do a uv_1 transfer in Blender from the lovely annabluu's tutorial here. All this time I was doing it by scratch, so I was very happy to have found such valuable information. I converted a shirt from IMVU and followed the tutorial and everything was perfect. But now that I tried to do the same thing with a pair of pants, the sliders aren't able to be utilized and I'm rather lost at this point as to why or how to fix the issue. Any help would be very much appreciated!!! Here are some pics for clarification:

Check the textures tab. There should be two textures. Change the second one not only the first. This depends on the object you cloned. This was done originally as well. However, thank you for your response!

Thank you for your reply Inabadromance! Yes, I am very familiar with converting objects and this is the first time I've had this problem. All of the Cut numbers match with that of the EAXIS mesh clone and the uv map names are "uv_0" Here is the file if you want to take a look www.mediafire.com/?37ajk3699doxz2y

Hello. I hope someone could help me on this and possibly tell me what I'm doing wrong. There is a building that I am converting to Sims4 and I have it all uv mapped and everything and looks great in Blender. In Blender: But however when I import in into S4S, the texture seems to shift and I also noticed that when I export in out of S4S and back into blender the mesh is partially missing and the uv map is definitely altered... In S4S: Anyone know why this could be and a fix perhaps? Thank you

I've tried installing from file and selecting the io_sims.py and I get an error message when trying to enable it.

I just recently had to install all my programs back on my laptop and I noticed that now in Blender I no longer have the Section Under the 'Scene Tab' that has the Sims4Studio Cas Tools Option so that I can change the Cut number. Is there a plugin I'm missing, and if so can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.
And Yes, I have tried Blender 2.70 and 2.76.
