Make sure you have the hair selected, it should just export that and not the model. You can just delete the model you dont need it anyway, you use the model in blender. Like I said I dont use maya so I cant be specific, but it will export things just like max.

Milkshape has not been updated since 1987 These settings are max to blender in FBX sims4studio.com/thread/17/video-tutorials-texture-standalone-recolorI dont use Maya but I assume it would be similar For those who have trouble with blender. I use 3ds max, have done for years, never even looked at blender til the sims 4. I find it borderline stupid compared to max at times, but that's mainly because I'm use to max (and partly because it is :D ), but, I have learned to use it just fine for what I want. Blender is the best free app you will find. Ive looked at milkshape before, it should be free too. The best way to learn blender is go and do noob tuts, Ive done them all.

Hi whintersan I made a splash back thingy a while back simista.net/counter-splash-back/#more-4522You can edit that to your liking, make it more square, if you tick the adjust height on wall box in the warehouse it wont be limited to where it is. Blank out the bump to remove the tile creases. If you get stuck sing out

As Design4Sims said, spheres or cylinders may be higher but you cannot make them smooth. Spheres should be avoided a lot of times, the only time I use them is when the rest of the object is low. As a rule of thumb, any spheres I add will no more then double the poly count. So if you can make the object 800-1000 without spheres doubling that to around 2000 with them is not too bad, but going any higher is not a good idea. There are texture tricks for making things look rounder than they are.

Prototype #465. Problem is that can not use it because of what I suspect is the counter footprint, I got me an idea though.

No you need the older version, 2.76 has issues that cannot be fixed at this stage, we have tried it.

My retouched version is of no use, it worked but not a lot better than lavsm's so its not really worth it.

I changed the slotting behavior so it sits on the desk properly, however I cannot get the slots to work, I suspect they are interfering with the ones on the desk because it is so thin.
I then changed its footprint so it then uses the slots on the table/desk instead, which works fine in theory but you are then limited to where you want to place things, as lavsm's pic looks pretty cool, you wouldn't want to lose that.
Basically lavsm has done everything right, your best bet is to use it as they said, if you use the one I "fixed" you still end up using the move objects cheat anyway to get things sitting on nice and neat.
