you deleted too much of the nude top. and for not seeing it cas, you need to apply the correct tags Okay thanks for responding. What do you mean by tags? Is that part of this tutorial or do I need to look at another tutorial.

Hi, thanks for this awesome tutorial. I struggled but once I learned blender better I was able to follow this tutorial to completion. Here is a picture of the top mesh. I think the area I circled in red will be a problem in game, not sure how I did that. Anyway, I'm not sure where to go from here. The tutorial for Aleesha is good, when it gets to part 4 creating the texture, I'm not sure which files to use since I didn't use all the steps from her tutorial. What I'm trying to say the steps in Aleesha's tutorial are slightly different so can anyone tell me which files to use for texturing? Is it the bakedtexture.png file that we created?

Hi, in part 3 of your video I guess that's you Aleesha, the reference mesh is the nude one or the second uv1mesh that we created?
Also if I use blender 2.79 for all the steps will everything work?
Thanks,
Janice

I just figured it out, I didn't have the mesh selected, and I wasn't in edit mode, ha ha, maybe I can really finish this now, it's only been a year sad

idk how to explain it. try looking at this video tutorial. it has 4 parts to it. and i learned by experimenting and learning from my mistakes thanks for this reference. I can follow up until you split the screen for the uv part. When I get to the part in the video around 6:06 when I change the view to uv/image editor all I see is a blank canvas like graphing paper, there is no pattern. Can you tell me what I'm missing? Thanks again.

annabluu it's still not working. Let me ask you this. The data transfer part is for the s4studio mesh or the MD mesh? When do I import my MD mesh?

annabluu It's still not working I'm gonna list the steps as I understand them, can you or someone tell me which step am I doing wrong? 1. Open up my mesh from Sims4studio in blender 2.78 2. Import my MD mesh 3. Click on the s4studio_mesh... then go to Triangle shaped object tab and check to see if I have more than one uv, delete any other uv's except uv_0 4. Add a new uv but do not rename it 5. append the reference mesh following instructions in tutorial 6. In my case I then have two s4studio_mesh objects(I guess that's what they are) 7. Select both s4studio_mesh_... objects and join them as per the tutorial. 8. Rename my MD mesh uv by going to triangle shaped tab and change name to uv_0 9. Add a uv but do not rename it 10. Do data transfer step 11. Rename my unnamed MD mesh uv to uv_1

annabluu I did what you said, rename the MD mesh after the data transfer and I still do not see a mesh when I go into edit mode. Am I supposed to select the MD mesh or the nude s4studio_mesh?
