I'm no pro at this particular issue but I think the easier option would be to clone the object that you want your's to look like and go from there. So best bet would be to clone the Ghost gnome and then just replace your meshes in Blender. Then you can go ahead and import your texture in and pay attention to how the original textures of the ghost gnome were made, i.e gradient alpha layer. Does that make sense?

Usually you can use the weight transfer option by transferring the weights from an ea mesh to your new mesh. I also believe that with the new S4S update, if any bone assignments area a little bit off, the program will auto fix it for you. Ah okay. I ended up just painting the bulb portion, but I never thought to paint the interior, Thanks I shall go back and make the minor edit.

I was making new lights for TS4 and I noticed whenever I changed the light color under color and intensity, my entire mesh would take on the altered color. While browsing S4S forums I found this thread started by saudade-sims4 and even though her issue was about a fridge and stove, I believe it helped me solve my lighting issue with my lights. The info was posted by @omorfi-mera, and I was just wondering if this was the appropriate fix for this particular issues with lights. However, I no longer see the glow on the ground but I'm hoping that's suppose to be that way.
