freeasabird cool, Glastonbury is only a few hours from me! Also from your profile picture, I can see that you like TBBT, and I've got to say that I love it to. Not going to lie, I laughed when you said you were a laid back Brit as I am very hot-headed person (maybe that's the Mediterranean part of me lmao). I need to take a leaf out of your books and chill a bit. Also, don't give up on French! I've been learning it for years and years and I still haven't nailed the accent, so I would say keep going! It doesn't matter a whole deal about the accent but more about the pronunciation and annunciation of your words- as long as the person you are talking too in French can understand the context of your speech, it doesn't matter if your accent is slightly off. Also, just a tip when learning French- I've been commenting on a French person's Instagram in French as conversations are really vital.

Like Steven said, the way that you make CC base compatible is by using base game meshes to create your content. The cut numbers have nothing to do with whether your content is base compatible or not, but the cut numbers state where the meshes go on the model.

Hi, thank you for responding. It wasn't an issue with the icons, but the gender menus being distorted. I shall be able to access my computer in about 30 minutes and I will get back to you on resetting the language.
Thanks!

If you just played around with the mesh then it looks like it could be something to do with lack of vertex painting. Here is a link to a tutorial of vertex painting if this is your problem: sims4studio.com/thread/2479/vertex-paint-sims-4-mesh(To sum up the tutorial above if you are still stuck after reading it, you need to make the parts of the mesh that do not touch the skin Green- the specific green that is mentioned in the post- and the areas of the mesh that will touch the skin blue- also the specific blue that is mentioned). Looking at your number of posts, I'm guessing that you're new to this site and making custom content? If so, here is a brief description on the differences of meshes and textures as this may help you solve some problems in the future: Meshes are the particular shape of the content that you are making. You can take the human body for example- the different body shapes that people are have a similar role to meshes. Textures on the other hand are like the specific details that are etched on our body. They make up the colours of our hair, skin and eyes. Textures are 2D and provide only the pattern whereas meshes provide the shape. Therefor, when you import the edited mesh back into S4S, the shape of the character in the preview box will stay the same but the texture.

Innocent (gotta admit I did look it up to see what it was...)
Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex? (if you're wandering about me on this one the answer is no, but it's totally okay if you did, yanoo- I'm not gonna judge, not about that life).

Hmm, just looked at all of my beauty stuff and the only item that tells me where it was manufactured is the non-branded face moisturisor made by a store- my face wash, foundation and concealer don't tell me where it's from. Feyona omg everything you said in your paragraph is how I've always felt and been, every single word that you said applies to me also. I was always called a ghost because how pale I am and most of the time I was called vampire because of my superpale skin, very dark hair and piercing blue/grey eyes. It's ironic because I'm mostly Mediterranean and we are meant to have super dark skin, so much so that when my mother, who is also quite pale but still darker than me, said that she was Maltese, people didn't believe her because she was 'white' and not 'black'. I had being so pale, I wish I could have darker skin... but like you Feyona, I just burn so badly in the sun and I also have Urticaria which makes me so bad in the heat.

(CHECK THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST TO FIND THE ANSWER)
I've had this problem since the first day of the download. After updating my Sims game to the newest Gender update, some of the coding in my game regarding the said download has been warped. When I click the three circles/ellipse below the 'male' and 'female' sign, instead of having the options that are meant to be there (such as 'What physique does your Sim have? then the options 'feminine' and 'masculin'), it instead displays a combination of letters, numbers and characters (for example, 87dhsjdd;dsl). The options still change the look and the programming of the Sim, but the display names and completely warped, as well as the header for the expanded objects. I have no idea how this came about happening and other people don't seem to have the same problem. I didn't mess with Origin or the Sims game while it was updating, so I'm baffled as to how this occurred. If there are any other alternatives to uninstalling and reinstalling TS4 along with my expansion packs/game packs, then that would be great- I really don't want to unintall and reinstall anything as when I first got The Sims 4 and downloaded it, it took over 24 hours to download, and with Get To Work, it took about 3 hours (my Internet is atrocious, so uninstalling and re-installing TS4 would be a nightmare for me).
Thank you for you help in advance.
UPDATE: I had to uninstall and reinstall the game in order to fix this. I tried everything- clearing out all of my CC and mods to see if they were the reason, repairing my game... you name it.

Hey there! I had the same problem with my meshes before and in my case it was due to me joining my top with the nude top, making too many overlapping verticies. Did you by any chance do this?
