Hmm, that's interesting. However, I am pretty sure that this new graphics card will be far better than a mediocre graphics chip on a mother board lmao.

fifthace2007 exactly, as it's only a graphics chip on the motherboard, it hardly has any power :( But hopefully my graphics card will come tomorrow seeing as I have Amazon Prime. I'll just get my brother to install it as he has a lot of knowledge in installing hardware into computers. It's a shame that he sold his graphics card to one of his friends for £50 as I could have had it. Oh well, everything should be sorted soon, I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks again for your help ~ GeometricSims (Kate)

I'm glad I could be of assistance! Have a nice day and remember, do not worry if things don't go to plan at first. I literally spent weeks upon weeks trying to make CC. Stay determined! (Sneaky Undertale reference).

@stevenssimsstuff orangemittens fifthace2007 thanks for your feedback guys Most of my PC's specs are really decent, but my graphics aren't great. I have tried updating my graphics driver multiple times, but to no avail. Have no fear, however, as I am ordering a new one for my PC right now. Playing Sims in Ultra Low graphics certainly is not the best option but I mean, I can put up with it in build mode for now. Thank you again guys. I can always count on you to put my worries to rest. Ngl, you guys are actually better than EA support lmao.

nords delete the CC thumbnails via Sims 4 Studio. I guess you would have to open up all of your CC individually to delete the thumbnails, which might be a pain for someone like me who literally has hundreds of CC items, but if you only have a few it wouldn't take long . Does anyone know how to batch delete thumbnails? If so, I'm sure a lot of people in this thread would appreciate it.

@stevenssimsstuff That's the thing, I can't go back to when Blender was working on my desktop because I literally just got it on Monday. I'm just setting stuff up this week. I'm pretty sure, after days of trouble shooting, that it's my graphics chip that's on my motherboard. I am going to get a new on though. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Hi there, Please could you elaborate on your situation? If you could explain it a bit and show us some pictures to help, that would allow us to solve your issue.
Thank you, ~ GeometricSims (Kate)

Hi! First up, those look AWESOME! But do not worry- they will be fixed in no time, have no fear.
Have you UV mapped your mesh? This could be what is causing the texture of your mesh to come out like the Sim's skin. Once you have UV mapped it, then your textures should come out okay. If you need any more assistance, please do not hesitate to ask I will almost always reply within at least 24 hours.~ GeometricSims (Kate)

Hi! Regarding inabadromance 's comment above, you need to edit the specular map. This is what adds the shine to your object. You can find it in the Warehouse section of studio when you have a mesh opened.

Regarding the comment above, as there is no way to do this in The Sims 4, I suggest putting the tattoo in an accessory slot like inabadromance said, but then the problem is when you want to use a ring, for example, and you put that tattoo on that certain ring slot, there is the problem that the ring would over ride the tattoo. However, if you have the time and can be bothered (as this takes extra time), you can always put your tattoo in multiple catagories. This is what someone did with eyelashes- they put them in the face painting catagory, but if you wanted to have facepaint on, you could also access the eyelashes from the hat catagory/accessory catagory. Just a thought to get round your issue

Hi there! For a beginner in meshing, you're pretty damn good at it! Those earrings are hella cute, so when they're finally out to the world (if you wish to publish them, that is) I would love to have these earrings in my game . So you want to create a UV map for your earrings but after doing the Smart UV mapping, the mesh came out like this. I believe this is because the Smart UV mapping makes the UV maps unwrapped, which basically means that your UV map is turned into a crash net for your mesh. To solve this problem, I would recommend not doing the Smart UV mapping, but creating your own UV map manually. To do this, you can select the vertices and create a UV map from them (I'm every so sorry for my poor explanation, I do not have Blender on my computer at the moment due to my poor graphics card, so I cannot open Blender to see what I'm talking about- also, I'm really awful at explaining without the source, but when I'm in Blender, I can wiz through- anyway, again, I apologise). Here are two links to tutorials to help you out: Here is a link to the full online manual for custom content creators, thanks to the lovely orangemittens: www.sims4studio.com/thread/662/index-studio-tutorials-online-manualHere is the tutorial on UV mapping that I think you will find useful- also, this particular accessory tutorial is also on creating new earrings, to make it super easy for you : sims4studio.com/thread/164/start-finish-accessory-mesh-beginners If you have any more problems or need help understanding anything, please do not hesitate to ask ~ GeometricSims (Kate)
