Just an update -- I have made a lot more things since the first post -- I will try to make some more that look good and post them here. Mostly, lots of painting recolors ... having lots of fun. Thanks so much for the use of the S4S tool to create

Okay - I am an idiot -- I figured out what I was doing wrong. Instead of trying to find the alpha file, I should have been looking at the way I was saving the file. It was set to save an object as DXT5 in Nvidia, when I should have been saving as a DXT1. Duh :-/ Thanks guys for your help -- it is very much appreciated.

Thanks so much for the feedback guys -- I will check it out. Also, I have tried both a CAS item and an object.

If I recolor the item, it just shows up as a gray object -- the patterns are there, etc, but everything is just gray :(

The channels that show are RGB, red, green, and blue.

That's what is so confusing. I exported it and saved as a dds file from S4S, and when I put it in photoshop and click on the channels tab, there is no alpha showing.

I'm feeling really stupid right now. I was messing around, trying to learn how to recolor items and clothing, and now my alpha channel/layer doesn't show up in photoshop after importing a texture file from S4S. What the heck did I do and can someone help? Thanks so much in advance -- I would be appreciate any suggestions
