Hi, anyone could help me understand why some of my CC are crashing S4S when trying to add a swatch ? Some CC just crash the app. Nothing in the LOG file :/ I can remove swatch or edit them. Just adding does not work. Something to investigate in the warehouse ? I tried to ad a swatch manually in the warehouse but.. I don't know how to so it didn't worked. Thanks for help Pump. S4S 3.1.0.2 beta used. Same thing with Harmony.

What type of creation were you working on when this happened? Was it CC? Does this happen with all projects or just that specific one? Can you give the steps you took before this happened? Please share the offending .package so that it can be investigated.

Hi ! Thank you for coming ! Smells like your message was a bit copy/pasted as some answers are in my first post As I said it's a CC, and it does affect only some of them. Sothing is wrong but I don't know why. I'm new to that thing^^ Here is the file : Download the CC .packageAgain, thank you !

Hi! You mention "some cc".. that could be 1, 2 or half of the things you're working with. The link isn't working for me. Please upload the file on a safe space such as dropbox, onedrive, simfileshare, mediafire. Is the cc old? You couldn't add swatches when we just started, so some modifications had to be done to packages to link all swatches together. Try cloning the item instead of opening the package.

LOL, no it wasn't copy/pasta. What I meant by "Was it CC" was "Was it something someone else created or are you using an EA item as your base" (I know I should have specified ) I attempted to also add swatch and the program crashed for me too. Upon looking into the .package I can see a couple things that may cause an issue - the name of the creation in the Object Definition resource does not look like the way S4S names things. Did you rename it there? It should look something like this: brujah236_sinkCounterGENBath_201704180002112019_set1
- the TGI (Type, Group, Instance) of the Object Catalog and Object Definition is also not how S4S numbers things. How did you clone the item? They should have the Group of 80000000 and a 64 bit Instance
I made a Selective Clone of this .package (tutorial HERE) and had all the boxes checked, except for the bottom one "Use 32-bit instances", and adding swatch now works.

Yeah, sorry, I'll be more accurate next time Also, sorry for the link, I only allow external access from France and USA. This is secure, be assured (and I'll disable USA access soon. It was just enabled for Brujah) @brujah : I just downloaded the CC somewhere, and edited meshes / textures. The package was downloaded as it. The only thing I know is that the original modder said that it was a Sims2 model ported to the Sims 4. Maybe the culprit was here ? SO : I tried the clone function and... it worked ! I didn't tried as I wasn't aware it could fix that Maaaaaany thanks !!
