i can get catalog image to work fine for objects. haven't tried walls, floors, or clothing. however, with hairs it will have the catalog image only for the first coloring. the second and third colorings don't have catalog images. i have done the same steps for the hair as i have done for the objects and they come out fine. please tell me what i am missing. Hairstyles in CAS only display one thumbnail in black by design. |

This did not work for me. It shows the text but now I have no objects showing. It's just a white box with the text I tried to add as an overlay. I followed the instructions exactly but the transparency did not work.

morilina Hairs, beards, and eyebrows display the black swatch thumbnail. Skintones don't have a thumbnail and have a single swatch color. Eye colors can have a multi-color swatch but only the first color shows in CAS, also eye colors can have a teeny tiny 32x32 pixel thumbnail (which is what EA have done for the vamp/mermaid "special" eyes). The rest of CAS (clothes, make-up, hats, jewelry, tattoos, skin details, etc) follows a similar catalog/image pattern as objects.

how can i make a cc creator searchable in my buy mode.some are and some arent,the biggest creator i have has over 3000 objects,i would like to be able to bring up all of his stuff with search in the game.

buenas... soy nueva en esto pero por más que busco no encuentro la respuesta a mi problema y es que no me aparecen por ningún lado los objetos ni del juego y los personalizados. ¿qué puedo hacer? me gustaría encontrar un tutorial que me explique como funciona desde que me lo descargo hasta que empiezo a crear objetos. Gracias

buenas ... soy nueva en esto de crear objetos pero tengo un problema y es que cuando le pincho en objetos o en cus no me aparecen los objetos que tengo en el juego y no sé si es que me lo descargué mal o es que algo falla ¿Me puedes ayudar con mi problema? Estaría bien encontrar un tutorial que me explique desde que me descargo el juego como se hace para usarlo correctamente. gracias

Hello, I literally just started with S4S yesterday so I’m a bit dim lol.
I made a new 3D mesh of a EA chair so I could place a slot on it to use with ATS’s booster seats. I finally got it to work, but the catalog thumbnail is blank like the chair is invisible, it also is invisible while placing the chair and doesn’t actually appear until I have placed it into the world. I have no idea if this is a thumbnail thing or something else so I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I’ve read this entire thread and have tried everything :/

I was retexture the kitchen cabinets. When I installed it to the game, I noticed that the thumbnails were generated in a mix with other lods. For example, instead of the central one, the corner one is displayed.how do I fix this?

None of my items, whether CAS or B/B, generate thumbnails in S4S, although they all generate them fine in game. I have access them all many times. What am I missing...?

Hi Moonshay, please grab the new version of Studio HERE. Once you have that use Tools/Delete Cache feature. There was a bug introduced by the latest patch that caused the problem you're having. If doing that doesn't fix the issue or you aren't sure how to do that, please post again. hello, i know this post is a few years old but no matter the versions i have gone through and upgraded, just fairly recently, i would say the last year or so, my overlays don't show up in game anymore. just like this. but they used to. i would create the PNG 148 x 108 blank overlay, with just my logo so it would automatically apply to every game generated thumbnail that was generated after i would upload a newly made piece of my CC. examples listed ![]() thumbnail absent besides 1st one - boots thumbnail absent besides 1st one - tshirt newest item made - used Modding-Custom Thumbnail Overlay - i wanted to try the "Modding/Custom Thumbnail Overlay" on this one CC to see if there's a difference thank you for help in advance! |
