Well, I have seen so many Youtubers/videos about this mod. I have been wanting it to work but, it won't... I'm not sure if its because I am on MacBook Air, or not. I followed the directions very carefully, I'm not sure what I did wrong.  I have a MacBook air as well, it worked perfectly for me until i went on it the next day and couldn't connect to origin or go online :/ |

Hi,
so I followed the instructions to download this MOD. I'm a little stuck at the subfolder part, I have no idea where to put it because no matter where I put it, it doesn't work and I've tried putting it in subfolders just in case but nothing works. MODs are enabled in my game but it's still not working.
Help?

many simmers have been complaining on their channels about the mod being buggy/broken and nothing has changed. it sucks that we can't play with this mod now, and i understand that it is a privilege/bonus, not a right, but i was just wondering if an update should be expected?

i love this mod, however immediately after i added it, the audio stopped working.

I have downloaded the recent update for the mod I think, and when I tried to use it, I was able to click on the pet, but it kept cancelling all actions when I tried to make it do something. I couldn't even get my pet to move somewhere. I don't know why. My animal is a cat. Then again I did just create the house and then I saved and left the game, got the mod, then went back into the game. So I just don't know if that has something to do with it. I am having same problem.... the same thing is happening to my game after the last update |

Greetings! Soo to start off, I love this mod!! However, there are some problems with it.. I was using the mod without the last update that it had.. And it was working splendidly until a few days ago. I was also using MC Commander & WhickedWhims. Every few Sim minutes, I'd get a issue warning with MCCommander about broken mods or cc. It was annoying me so much that I took MCCommander out of my game, but then WhickedWhims caught onto the warning as well. Soo naturally, I took a few mods out what I thought were the problem. But then I noticed something. When I clicked on one of my Sims to interact with another Sim, I got an option that said, "What's wrong?" clearly a Pet interaction. The doggy that my Sim owned was also smelly, but that wasn't possible because I gave him a bathe & took him to the vet thinking something was wrong with him. So then I checked this mod and saw that it had an update. Sadly, I removed it from my game =( I was gonna put the new update of the mod back in when I got this message.. WinRAR could not open the new mod updates. It said, "This System cannot find the file Specified." I really do Love this Mod & hope that someone can help me so that I can have it back in my game. I have the same Scipt error message from MCCommander and it is so annoying. It seems to be a problem with the playable pet mod. i like this mod cause i can see how my pet is doing D:
Is someone working on fixing this mod?

Did the laundry day update stop this from working. I dont use pets much but just adopted a dog and I can no longer control them.

someone still needs to update the mod.. because people been having trouble greeting others' sims pets or stays or greeting paietns in the clinic |

magnacarter, and one day it may be updated. all that the creators can ask is that you be patient while they work through the code and fish out what's wrong.

I've been using this mod for the past couple of months and so far I don't have any major issues. Things I have noticed: - My game defaults to my dog for 1st user control when selecting a house
- "sleep" will show up twice on pet beds and only one works but it's random each time
- the cheat to "make happy" will cause the bars to go to green, but they will still get moodlets for attention or hunger
- they get needier faster than without the mod, their attention, hunger, and energy go down as fast as a baby/toddler
Otherwise, it's a great mod and I love being able to control the pets. Thank you!! |
