Step 15 in the tutorial I linked shows where. The screenshot in my last post is what pops up.

I took a look at your file datgirl1065 and this neon sign is different than others. It has additional textures that need to be edited in order for it to appear correctly. If you go into the Warehouse you will see an unlit version along with normal/bump map.

Hello, I'm sorry I accidently shared the wrong package file, I made multiple different ones to figure out what would work. Thought I do want to get rid of the border around the text somehow www.dropbox.com/s/7763ewmb9bl7y0x/rocketneonsign.package?dl=0this is the one in the screenshot I shared Though what you said still applies, what should I do for the bump maps?

Export the original from the .package to see how it looks. I suggest putting a bevel and emboss FX on each letter on their own layer so it doesn't only do part of a letter.

Should I make specific settings for it?
Edit: I did that, though im not quite sure what I should do for the DST files

Can you explain what you mean in your last post a little more. Which DST image/s are you referring to?

The first image (D4tpr) is the "lights on" texture and the second (YIEzp) is the normal/bump map. The normal/bump map must be greyscale and the "lights on" texture can be any color but both should match your diffuse in shape. You can change the speed of the scrolling in the material resource inside the model/LOD resources. |
| There is also the "LightsAnimGradientMap" that should be edited. It is the very small greyscale image that has what looks like black steps in the bottom right corner. If I'm not mistaken this image is broken up into 4 sections/steps so when the texture is scrolling it lights up each letter of OPEN in a different brightness (black being off). |

I'm sorry, this is super confusing for me :'( Should the scrolling speed be a specific number? I'm not quite sure what I should do for them to achieve the result I want thanks

- Edit/create bump/normal texture (Instance: FEF45F9D14DE0626)
- Edit/create a "lights on" texture (Instance: 89778AEA265CAF98)
- Edit "LightsAnimGradientMap" texture (Instance: A9ADFF37CB0C6EC9)
- Import these to replace the existing textures
- Save and test
- If the scrolling is too fast/slow then adjust the "LightsAnimSpeed" setting
