Hi orangemittens, thank you so much! I followed your steps and the meshes imported perfectly :-)
No textures -- I think I need a different program to retrieve those -- but fortunately that's easy enough to fix.

This is wonderful! After I have it in blender what do I do with it? Save it? Would I open it in S4Studio and recolour as I would a painting?? orangemittens

SSS, I save it as a .obj and then append it to whatever EA thing I cloned. Imfordham could you be a little more specific about what part you're on?

The button should say Load Prop...is that the one you're clicking? Are you using Blender 2.70?

Is the .package you're trying to get a CAS .package or an object .package? If it's an object .package PM it or post it and I can take a look at it. If it's a CAS .package you will need a Sims 3 rig in Blender before the import will work.

Thanks orangemittens ! You rock! This makes it super easy to convert from S3 to S4! Can I do a video tutorial on this sometime?

Hi cruzo98, if nothing happens when you import the most likely reason is that you did not give your new mesh the cut number of the EA mesh you want it to replace. Studio uses the cut number to know which mesh to remove and what mesh to put in its place. If the cut number is missing it will not know that you want something replaced and nothing will happen.
