The link to the Sims 3 rigs should be working again, it was temporarily broken by Microsoft's change in how One Drive links are managed. Sims 3 rigs won't work for Sims 4 animation.

Hi, first post. I'm trying to convert something from Sims 3 to Sims 4 but when I try to import the package in blender with the load CAS I get an error and it doesn't import. How do I copy the error so you can see what I'm doing wrong in blender? It's a traceback window that pops up.

Hi the afrosamurai, it might be easiest to take a screenshot of it.
Hi portagas6, the Sims 3 rig is just a .blend. All you need to do to see the rig in Blender is open the .blend.

Hello, I'm trying to change the clothes on my rig. Here I've gotten a breastfeeding bra onto the rig, but the skin texture no longer shows. How do I fix this? Also, is it possible to have a completely nude rig? I tried using some of the nude clothing tops and bottoms, but without success.

So I am having an issue. I am trying to import a mesh that I made to look somewhat like this . Problem I have is when I import it into S4S, it doesn't look anything like what it does in blender. I have four layers on it, which could possibly be the problem, but I am not sure at all. It was created using the long flowy dress bottom from S4s. When I do import it, the bottom looks part looks like the original and the rest looks right but the texture mapping is completely wrong. any thoughts? Link to pic below. Pic of Mesh

I just want to port the washer and dryer from TS3 to TS4. How do I do that? Blender doesn't look the same on my PC as it does on yours. I KNOW YOU SAID USE 2.7, however, I can only find the 2.75 version.
I don't want to get all crazy with modding. I just want a washer and dryer in TS4. Please help, & TYVM.

I'm with DianaraSHERRY, how do you actually convert something from TS3 to TS4? are you able to export the mesh from blender and import it in s4s? I think this information would be very helpful.

What happens after I'd succesfully put the CAS part on the Sims 3 rig? How to place it on a Sims 4 rig? How do I copy and paste it?

Once you have the item in Blender it is part of the .blend. You can delete the parts of that .blend that you don't want (all the rig parts for example) and then append it into the .blend you exported from the Sims 4 .package you cloned in preparation for using this mesh to replace the EA mesh.

After you get a cas package to load the mesh into blender, how do you turn it into a sims 4 playable mesh?
