This moving business is keeping me pretty busy, I'll have to finish that later, possibly next week, depending on if I'm even going to have my computer at the new place. Because what's the point on bringing my computer when there won't be an internet connection for some time. The games are starting next week too, so it's gonna be hard traveling.

Be Careful and Safe during your Move! No Biggie on finishing....was a good laugh - You are very Talented! I started to make THIS Milk Carton, in case you don't show back up in a couple months, hopefully we won't have to fill in the details below - "Paika.....Marine Biologist....(Comedian @ Heart)....." I'm back here for one more night cause buying bedding didn't go as planned.
Low fat milk! Eww! I hate low-fat things. They taste like nothing. And companies tend to add way too much sugar and flavor enhancing chemicals to hide the blandness. Which leads to obesity and diabetes. I don't get how people still kid themselves with low-fat diets. Eating fat doesn't even make you fat! But of course food industry loves to promote those myths, cause it sells their poo. Same thing with cholesterol. Even if you eat a ton of it (and that is impossible anyway, because you'll get nauseous sooner than eat a whole stick of butter) it won't affect the amount of cholesterol in your blood. I don't think it was ever proven that high cholesterol clogs your arteries anyway. It was a speculation based on early heart attack victims' autopsies. The doctors discovered lots of cholesterol lining the heart arteries and figured it's the reason for heart attacks. Which reminds me, I heard this very, very bad song at a restaurant once, and it plagued me for days. Some stupid, young cow sings "I think I'll have a heart attack" or something like that. Well she must be smoking 5 packs a day and drinking a bucket of vodka, But I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics, so I'm not sure if the song was actually about unhealthy habits.

Well, I have been working on a few "redo" object from my Sims 2 stuff, and I have managed to get a few pieces in the game... I have felt the need to redo some meshes, but having some issue with smoothing groups on some particular objects. Even though they are separated, this seems to be smoothing everything together...not happy with that.

Thanks! I have gotten down the importing now. Working on adding transparency to a map, which I have managed to some degree, but I cloned the tissue box and it seems to have some sort of uvmap offset, so I'm trying to figure out why it's messing up my map or if it just won't add transparency. Following the tutorial, it didn't have an Alpha Blend, but it had an AlphaMaskThreshold, which did seem to add transparency to, but the map just seemed to have parts that looked like they weren't mapped right...they work fine in Max and Blender...bah. Fun with stuff...

The Sims2 Objects that I have imported - the UV Maps are all Offset, usually have to scale them down quite a bit and fine adjust - only the meshes and the Maps work; (I believe...). It's usually the Swap-out routine with a similiar object from Sims4 to get the Scaling down and the Shadow Lod/s & Cut numbers for the mesh/es.
With the Maps that look totally Bizarre, sometimes I will Bake them to export the .png for a new UV Map import. I am an Amateur - people like, OM - Brujah - MisterS...ect. they can really help more than I ever could with most things.
I haven't really felt like doing much lately - go through these Phases were sometimes I really feel like Diving in - then, it's just Blah for some time...Hahaha! Anyhows, Glad you are getting the hang of things - don't be a Stranger!

I can understand that...I got so burned out that I couldn't bring myself to make anything for Sims 3. I didn't even want to look at furniture. I was thinking about just buying a bunch of big pillows and throwing them around my house and getting rid of my sofas :D The model I am having issues with is basically a bowl of balls... In Sims 2, I used a transmap to make the balls disappear, so you could just display the bowl, but this one just doesn't play nicely. There are floating pieces of poo in the bowl... The Map looks fine in blender. I may just replace them with some more balls and release the bowl as a separate object...probably much easier!

Hi! I've just downloaded the studio and when I press on object it opens up a new window of which is supposed to shoe the objects and textures but there is nothing there. How can I fix this?
