Hi! I just downloaded Version 2.4.2.0 of S4S and have been trying to retexture a hairstyle. When I click on create a standalone and search for items, none of my custom content files show up. How do I get them to appear? Apologies if this is a silly question but your help will be very much appreciated!

There is sims4studio folder in documents, in that folder is a folder called mods, you need to put custom content in there to recolor it.

Hello, sorry for necroing the thread. I just figured since it is basically the same issue, it would be okay.
I just started learning to recolor last night and I am having this same issue. I am putting the hair I want to recolor in Sims4Studio mod folder in My Documents, but it is still not showing up. I have tried several other packages also with the same result.
I am running version 2.6.0.8 (Sugar).

If I have it set to look for a certain category with CC for me, it doesn't work.

Thanks for answering. Yes, I have tried it with and without the use of the categories, using the search bar and looking through everything by hand. Not a single item of CC shows up, just BG, EP, SP items.

oxjennxo Make sure that you're selecting the option for CAS standalone. Then check off the box that says CC Only at the top. I circled it in this picture.

I tried that too. When I click the check mark, I just get an empty page.

Close s4s and re open it, it sounds like you are putting it the folder while you have it open.

I've closed the folder, I've uninstalled and re-downloaded and tried again. This started last night and I did everything I could think of before even asking for help.

Hi oxjennxo, could you check your Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Logs\ folder? If Studio is getting an error trying to load the CC packages, it will try to write the error message to a text file there.

Hi, Merry day after Christmas!
There is no errors in the folder. I am really at a loss as to what is wrong. Is there a way to see if the Studio is definitely looking into the Sims 4 Studio folder in my documents? The settings when I open up the program are set to look at Sims 4 (in the EA) folder, but not the EA mods folder, which I this was the correct way. Maybe the file paths are wacky?

The sims 4 studio in documents, delete it and re launch studio, it will force studio to re index everything.

Hi oxjennxo, can you show a picture of your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder where you're putting the custom content? Can you send me the item that you're putting into the Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder that is not showing up on the thumbnail list?

So sorry. The holidays never seemed to end and I never had a chance to check back here. I uninstalled S4S soon after. I am now redownloading a new version to try one more time.
