Hi, Everyone. My name is Monique, I go by Moniq31Gamer. I am from Jamaica, I'm an Accountant, Entrepreneur & mother. I have been playing the sims for over 10years & I just now (since last November)found out about recolor, like what?? It is the easiest kind of CC & I love it. My hard drive crash in December with over 50 recolors I did & I am so sad that I didn't upload them. I do recolors, floors, walls & painting/picture frames. This is probably nothing compared to the great modders/cc creators out there but I would love to share & learn more about creating. Oh, I also love building, renovating & doing interior design of sims lots. If you are interested in seeing my artistry lol, view my Tumblr Moniq31Gamer TumblrPage. Hope to make some great friends, Nice to meet you all.

It sucks that you lost those early recolors, but that'll just be some negative reinforcement to encourage you to upload your creations online! It's fine if all you do is recoloring; we don't discriminate by the craft of the modder. With how huge this community is, I'm sure no matter what you make, there'll be plenty of people who'll enjoy it and want it in their game! It's great to hear how much fun you've been having with the sims and I hope the continues! I'll follow your tumblr to check out your stuff. Happy simming!

Hi, I've been playing The Sims 3 since I think 2013, and a few weeks ago finally got Sims 4 while the base game was free. Expansions and packs are on sale, so even though I can't really afford to be buying games, I got Get to Work and Cats and Dogs. I'm shocked by the lack of game items for this pets expansion and even more shocked that there isn't more CC for pets; most are just recolors, simple edits, or TS3 conversions. I also have a hard time designing houses because there aren't always matching colors or objects. I'm disappointed with the fencing and gate selection. It's been hard to find what I'm looking for already made. So I really want to try creating some things for the game. I'd really love some more dog harnesses!
However, I'm extremely concerned about the lack of security on this site. My Chrome-based browser reports that this site is not secure, and there doesn't seem to be HTTPS support (I tried manually adding https:// in the url in case there just isn't automatic redirection, as is sometimes the case, but that didn't work). Just to be sure/get second opinions, I found a free, basic online site scanner (https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/https/sims4studio.com) and it found the same thing: no HTTPS protocol protecting login pages. Considering I've had a previous password and username leaked to hackers before from an unsecured site, this really concerns me and doesn't make me feel safe using this site. I'm not sure if there are safety precautions not being detected or what, but I'd recommend getting this fixed or looked into so people don't get "unsecured site" warnings that are very off-putting.

LONG POST INCOMING! Prepare your Plumbobs, kids. Hi, Everyone. My name is Monique, I go by Moniq31Gamer. I am from Jamaica, I'm an Accountant, Entrepreneur & mother... Hope to make some great friends, Nice to meet you all. Hi Monique, and welcome to S4S. It's great to meet you! I just took a quick peek at your Tumblr and can safely say that your TS4 lots are absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for us all! It'll be great to share work and tips with you and give each other a leg-up on becoming content creators! I'll be keeping an eye on your blog for sure. Super stoked that you finally got to hop aboard the TS4 ship. EA sure have cut down on the amount of items and clothing offered in EPs, which is unfortunate, but that's where folks like ourselves come in. I've actually been having a lot of issues with CC for pets as well, mostly beds, since they seem to be conflicting with something else in my game at present. With volunteer work and DIY going on in the house, I can't be fussed to take the time to figure out what's causing things to go wonky right now. Instead I'm sketching something that might become CC in future as I type at this very moment (well sort of - I only have two hands like most human beings). Unfortunately though, it's not pet stuff... I'm not skilled enough with Blender just yet. We can learn together! It'll be awesome to see what you create to fill the gaps. Although I'm sure you've already tried this, there are plenty of archives and general CC posts around Tumblr; there's a really strong TS4 community there, but of course their recently-implemented guidelines (RE: porn/nudity and the like) mean that a lot of folks have been leaving. I'm not sure if there are safety precautions not being detected or what, but I'd recommend getting this fixed or looked into so people don't get "unsecured site" warnings that are very off-putting. This is certainly a concern for myself as well, but I recently looked into securing websites and they can sometimes be expensive to find certificates for. I'm assuming that S4S is run with very little cash to spare despite security being a necessity online these days. Depending on the price, perhaps we can have a whip around and chip in a few quid? Let's see what happens. Chrome has yet to angrily inform me that security is an issue here, besides the big red "Not Secure" warning sign besides the address bar, and so far we don't seem to have had any problems with hacking and leaking of details. Fingers crossed this continues until the security certificate situation is resolved. At present I'd pull the old trick of regularly updating your password and hope for the best. Either way, it's great to meet you. Welcome you to our wee community!

I've never tried to make wallpapers before but I have made repeating patterns and similar things for work using Photoshop, so I can definitely take a look for you. What are you using to make the swatches?

Hello and welcome! It's awesome you were able to snag the game when it was 100% off! Good for you! I'm sorry that you've stumbled upon the problems we've all been facing with the EPs. Cats and Dogs is personally my least favorite EP solely for how barren the pack feels; so I'm totally with you when it comes to wanting more. As for security concern, that concern was addressed HERE. Just because Chrome says "Not secure" doesn't actually mean the site is not secure, it just means it's not a https site, which may change in the future. I hope that clears things up for you! Hope your enjoy your time here on the site!

Helloooo! My name is Cecily (Seesilly--and I know you're saying it wrong, so "cessuhlee"). I've downloaded this to help fix the errors my game is having from the latest patch update, but I know nothing at all about making my own stuff or...anything at all other than downloading mods for my game. I'm 26 and I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and too many pets.

I'm 26 and I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and too many pets. Welcome! S4S is an amazing tool for many reasons, even beyond content creation. I hope it helps fix your files! That being said, if you ever did want to try out content creation, I recommend looking through our tutorial list HERE which shows you how to do everything from recoloring to mesh-making to tuning! If you ever need help with a project, you can look for it HERE. Of course, there is no wrong way to use S4S, if all you do is download mods, that's good enough, too. Just make sure to leave a nice comment every once in awhile because it'll really make a content creator's day! Happy simming!

Hello~
I'm Nux. I've been a simmer since 2005 (the ps2 version bore my love for Sims). I have been dabbling in 3D modeling (3dsmax) and photoshop since 2008 and have been making private CC for the last couple of years. My recent interests lie in custom objects and scripts, so I've been working on applying my programming skills to the world of Python and Blender.
I've been a lurker of S4S for quite some time, so I thought I should signup and say hello.

Hi I'm Karolina and I stand by CarollDesign/Caroll91 (TSR). I play sims since very early 2000s starting from the original Sims, and ending on current Sims 4. I started to create housing around 3 years ago and CC this year. I fell in love in S4S in late April and it's my primary tool to create my walls and floors for Sims.

You and I seem to have a few things in common. I too started making CC this year. I recolor hairs, clothing, objects, creating walls and floors too. I was wondering have you made any multiple mural walls? I am working on a set but I stuck need some assist with make them seamless.
