HI ALL! I have been a Sims player since 2007, when I was 7 and played Sims 2 on PS2. I started to create CC on The Sims in 2015, but did not start sharing it until this year 2020. For the most part I make makeup/clothes/paintings and things like that, and as far as where you can download these things,I post to TSR, TUMBLR, SIMS CATALOG,and I'm going to expand soon. My name on all platforms is 'johnnieleemj'. Things I like, Michael Jackson, History, Learning, Cooking, doing nails and I'm getting into soap making. I'm from Texas, in the US, 20year old Capricorn, and I hope to make many friends in the Sims community since I'm just now branching out. Thanks for Reading :D

I was here before, but took a hiatus from the simming world for a while. The name's Millie and I'm from Canada. I've been simming since Sims 1, so no stranger at all to the simming world.

Hi, Azurea here. Longtime player of the Sims (since the first one). I can do 3D art and animation, but never thought about it as a mod. I am shocked at how big the modding community is! I hope someday to be sharing something creative like all of you. I really admire a lot of what I've seen! Hello! The modding community really is huge! I'm constantly finding new creators to interact with and whose creations I enjoy. Of course, there'll always be room for new modders and I can't wait to see the creations you come up with in the future! If you haven't done so already, check our our list of tutorials HERE! It's a great jumping-off point to start and they do a good job at helping you to learn the ropes of our S4S program and other applications like Blender. If you're having issues on one of your projects, you can go HERE for help, just make sure to check the forums beforehand to see if the issue you're having has already been resolved, if not: ask away! Finally, once you're ready to share your creations, consider opening up a Creator Studio HERE and sharing your cc with this community! Regardless of what you make, there's bound to be tons of simmers who'd love to have your cc in their game! I wish you the best of luck on all your future projects! Hello! I'm Starfilled. It's nice to meet you all! I've been playing the Sims 4 for six years now, and I've played a bit of the Sims 3 as well! I've always loved creating things and I'd love to see some of my own creations in the Sims, so I decided to jump into cc creation! It hasn't been going too well so far, so I'm hoping to improve and learn from you talented creators! Welcome! It's hard to believe that The Sims 4 has been out for so long! I was also a long time Sims 3 player before I made the switch. I'm sure you've already done this, but just in case, be sure to check out our list of tutorials HERE. Try some of them out and it'll help you get more acquainted to the program and it's features! If you're having trouble with a project, be sure to check the Creator Help forums HERE and see if anyone else has had similar issues before. If you can't find any solutions, then ask! The moderators over there are super helpful! Once you've made something you're happy with, consider opening up a Creator Studio HERE and sharing your creations with the world! There's bound to be plenty of players who'd love to have your work in their games! I hope all your future projects go smoothly! heya! my name's ash. i started playing the sims 3 around 2016 (that's very very late, ik), and last year i snagged the base game for ts4 while it was free on origin. thanks to a streamer, i've gotten into the sims 4 more and decided to install some CC for my game. i've also wanted to make some CC for myself, but so far i haven't really done much other than eye retextures and like 1 eyeshadow texture. i plan to do more in the future, though!
other than the sims, i just spend my free time either doodling or messing around in blender.
i look forward to meeting you all, and have a great day!
Hi there! I'm actually kind of jealous that you got the game for free, I wish I had waited longer to start playing! It's awesome to hear that you've already got your foot in the door through cc creating and I hope you keep at it! As always, make sure to check out the Creator Help section HERE if you run into any issues while working on a mod and feel free to return to our list of tutorials HERE for any refreshers. Also consider opening up a Creator Studio HERE if you're willing to share the things you've made with this community! I hope you keep experimenting with making cc and I can't wait to see the things you make in the future! Hi! I've been playing the Sims since Sims Pets, and have just recently started getting into animation and CC with Sims 4. I didn't realize how long it would take just to have a simple crouch down animation, aiiiish! Anyways, nice to meet you all! Hi! Yep! Even if an animation seems simple to make, it's always way more complex than it sounds. However, I believe in you and I'm sure you'll be finished with it in no time! If you're having any issues, make sure to seek help in the Creator Help section HERE. Just be sure to check beforehand to see if the issue you're having has already been solved. If not, ask away! Once you're happy with what you've made, consider opening up a Creator Studio HERE and share it off to the world! Even if you decide not to, that's alright! Just make sure to leave nice comments and give a thumbs up to all your favorite creator's creations! It can really make someone's day! Good luck on your animations and happy simming!

I started CC few weeks ago (not even a month). For now, I'm interested in damaging the look of the game. I like when creations don't fit in the Sims universe but are still looking awesome, like good looking copy/paste from another world. I currently only deal with textures as I have no program to do 3D models. What I like is recreating different styles of cartoon characters. I do CC based on my own comic books, TV shows and Animes. Some tests I did are good enough to be shared and I guess this is the place for that. I also like history a lot. I'm considering working on accurate military uniforms one day, but only if I can learn 3D somehow. Those would make more sense if done in the true "Sims 4 look". But I'm only beginning. I'm still experimenting a lot and I hope to learn more about CC here. I will also keep my eyes opened for any collaborative work in that line, as long as the team members are know to finish their work. So far, I've been modding a lot of games such as Doom, Doom 2, Star Craft, War Craft 2, Unreal Tournament, Quake, Sims 1, Skyrim and Cities Skyline. Peoples seem to talk about life successes here such as job, pets and love in their presentation. But I know no such things despite all my efforts. I'm always off when it comes to be a success or normal. Just assume that I'm a sympathetic but weird looking loser and you'll be pretty much right. About where I live, it's literally on a battlefield. A British General died just in front of my apartment many years ago. Charles Lindbergh landed there too, but that was many many years later. I can take a 40 minutes walk and see more than 100 artillery pieces ranging from 1700's to the First World War. Because of that, I now find it weird when I'm in a place with no gun emplacements nor fortifications around. And this is also why I was so happy to get a naval gun with the Get Famous. I now feel more at home in my games. Welcome! I think it's great that you're combining your personal interests with the Sims! Having that extra layer of passion will really help you when you decide to start making your own custom content. I'm sure you've already done this, but just in case, be sure to check out our list of tutorials HERE. They do a great job at helping you to learn the ropes of the program and Blender, the free 3D modeling program that many of use to make custom objects and clothing. If you're having troubles with a project, ask for help in the Creator Help section HERE. Just make sure to check and see if the issue you're having has already been solved before posting in that thread. Once you're ready to share your creations with the world, consider opening up a Creator Studio HERE! Even if you decide to keep your cc for personal use, make sure to leave nice comments and give a thumbs up to your favorite creator's creations! It really can make someone's day! If you plan on making cc, be sure to check out the list of tutorials HERE! Maybe you need a refresher, or you just want to try something new; no better time to do that than the present! 'ello!
Got the itch to try my hand just to fix some of the things that were driving me absolutly mad with meshes or settings. I'm a gamer at heart and own/play way tooo many as it is. SIMS 4 has become my chill space but I grew to love the ability to build and design homes. But it also brought out my art director side (Art Major, Graphioc Design and photography speciality with review) cause some things I got stopped from doing or wouldn't work didn't make sense! And while I had modded the ever living h*ll out of my Fallout I was a bit worried about doing it with Sims. And then when I dove - it was head first in to everything I could get my hands on for homes that helped expand build mode diversity and.. well everything else followed *toes the dirt*
My main hope/goal is to help work on expanding the clothing avilable to those who play with Simmies with bigger bodies - meshes cut in or bunch oddly on those frames which makes me sad cause I like to play sims who look like me some times.
I have a rediculious amount of experience with photoshop, some with blender as well as other rendering/rigging programs (still learning). A elder alt/goth BIPOC - she/her/them/they - queer ideinity. I really need to suck it up and make a tumblr asides from my main one where I follow a lot of the designers/artists I like. >.>

Hi, My real name is Lizzie and a year ago next month I founded the Sims site "Simularity". It's still mostly unknown (around >50 hits a day) but I'm adding new content to it daily as I continue to learn more and more about how to create new mods and custom content with Sims 4 Studio. I want to say thank you so much for all the wonderful tutorials on this forum without which I could never have gotten as far as I have with creating custom content! Also many thanks for the amazing program itself and for keeping it so up to date! I'm sorry for not introducing myself sooner but it's for the same reason I have so much trouble asking for help when I need it, severe social anxiety... among other things. I'm working on getting past that though, one step being this introduction right here. I started playing the Sims in 2000 with the very first Sims game and was addicted from Day 1. I created custom content for it too! I forgot what my site was called back then but I was known for creating classic celebrity Sims. I then got Sims 2 and did the same but was late getting into the Sims 3 and never really made content for it. I only started playing the Sims 4 last year and it's the first Sims game I started modding though I've modded other games in the past. By trade, I am a freelance digital artist and I run the independent Dream 9 Studios. I recently turned several of my digital artworks into Sims 4 objects so that my Sims can hang my artworks on their walls. I shared these artwork objects with the community on my Simularity website. (Please let me know if it's okay to share the link here or not. I don't want to break any rules on my first post!) I also have a cute little chihuahua named Aayla whose birthday is today, she turns 11 years old. :D I think I've blabbed enough for now. Thank you for letting me be here and I hope to be a productive member of this community!

Hey there, fellow Simmers! I haven't posted much on the S4S forums, nor have I introduced myself, so here we go!
My irl name is Riley. I'm a 20-something Michigander who lives with her twin sister and our 2 cats, loves the feeling of a perfectly fluffy blanket, and has a penchant for pasta. I've played The Sims since Bustin' Out! came onto the GBA and eventually expanded my horizons when I got a PlayStation 2 and The Sims for Christmas one year - it was over before it even started. LOL. My presence has been in the Simblr community since The Sims 4 arrived in 2014, but didn't start creating CC until April of 2016. I started with hair and clothing recolors but quickly became bored with it, which made me take an almost 2-year-long break from Simblr. I eventually returned in late 2017. Now I make skin details, makeup, furniture and CAS retextures/recolors. I'm not super consistent with posting much of anything, but I got a new rig so I'm hoping to get back to it very soon. Fingers crossed! My favorite game in the franchise is definitely The Sims 2 for PS2 (probably a nostalgia thing, if I'm being totally honest) but...I really freakin' love The Sims 4. That's a hot take for some people, but despite all of the crappy glitches and a lot of mishaps, I still think it's great. With the expansion of the game itself, the sheer amount of creativity & inspiration in our community and amazing CC that I'm able to download personally makes my TS4 experience exceptionally awesome.
When I'm not Simming, you can find me listening to hardcore punk and noise music, decorative planning, scrapbooking, writing/reading poetry, playing video games (World of Warcraft, Fallout, Animal Crossing and The Elder Scrolls are just some of my faves outside of The Sims), cooking, or improving my graphic design & digital illustration skills. Oh, and I love to cuddle my cat, too!
That's enough rambling lol. I'm excited to introduce myself and will hopefully be more active as I start to create more CC. Thanks for having me!

Normally, I link to our list of tutorials and our creator help forums, but you seem to know your way around the site, so I won't do that. You have a great back-log of custom content under your belt which makes me happy to welcome such a talented creator on this forum. Keep up the great work and happy simming! P.S. Right now, I'm looking to create a custom book that I could have sims buy from the online bookstore like any other book to appear in game...can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Welcome! If you're new to making cc, you've definitely in the right place! You're gonna find most of our tutorials on this site HERE. However, I'll be honest, most of our tutorials are geared around making mods. Just from a quick glance, I can't point you in the direction of a specific tutorial that will help you do exactly what you want to do. It might benefit you to look over on ModtheSims' website and look at the tutorials over there. You can also make a post HERE to see if anyone can give you any tips to get started. That forum is also your go-to place if you ever have any issues you encounter during the cc-creating process. Of course, make sure to check beforehand if the issue you've having has already been solved before. If not, ask! Finally, once you've made something you're proud of, considering sharing it by making a Creator Studio HERE. I'm sure there are tons of other simmers who'd love to have your cc in their game! Either way, make sure to give supportive comments and leave a thumbs up on your favorite creator's creations because it can really make someone's day! I hope your project works out in the end! I also have tons of fond memories of the PS2 Sims titles. I love hearing how much you've been an active part of the sims community and how you've also been active as a custom content creator. I couldn't agree more, though, I don't think sims would have half it's playability without mods/cc. I normally post links to help people get started, but you seem to already know your way around the site and I hope you keep coming back to this site whenever you need help with a project! You're definitely not rambling, it was nice to read your introduction! If you ever feel like sharing your tumblr, I'd love to give you a follow! Just as a reminder though, always be sure to leave nice comments and give a like/thumbs up to your favorite creators creations because what goes around, comes around! Keep up the great work and happy simming!

Hi, I’m Gracie! I am trying to learn how to make CC and poses for the Sims 4!
I have a question about downloading The Sims 4 Studio though. I have a Surface 3 Pro, and I would like to use it on that. I read the download instructions and it seemed like you had to download it on a desktop computer. I wanted to ask if I could use it on my Surface?
Thanks!

I read the download instructions and it seemed like you had to download it on a desktop computer. I wanted to ask if I could use it on my Surface? Thanks! Welcome! Personally, I've never heard of someone using this program on something other than a computer. I'd say, if Surface can run Sims 4 and Blender, then it could run Sims 4 Studio. You'd just have to be aware that the program isn't designed for tablets and it's very unlikely that most of the people on this site would be able to help you if you have any issues installing/using the program if it's tablet related. So... I'd say go for it! That all being said, this thread is just for introductions and further posts about it should be made over HERE instead. When you are able to work on cc creations, you can find our list of tutorials HERE and if you need help with a project, you can ask for it HERE. I hope you're able to figure things out! Happy simming!
