I have a dress that I've been working on and there is a weights issue that doesn't even show up in the thumbnail. It's near the ankles. The thing is, I didn't change any part of the mesh in the skirt or legs so I don't know why the weights are off in the first place. I have tried starting from scratch, importing into a new package, weight transferring in Blender, appending new legs, and running through CASTools. None of these methods have helped. I am at a loss for what to do.

We don't host the files. You need to upload them somewhere else and share the links here.

Hi. When you decimated lod0 mesh and imported it in lod1, was the second meshgrouop there or did you delete it? Try cloning yfBody_DressSunStrapsThin again and importing only lod0 If it won't work, delete the second meshgroup, clone yfBody_DressPanels and import the blend there. Keep in mind that in this package lod1 has two meshgroups
These distortions do not happen to everyone, the dress does not distort in my cas, so i cannot check if this will work.
Also, could you please tell us something about the machine you're using? Windows (what version) or ios? what graphic card do you have? To this day i do not know what is the key factor that makes some people see these distortions and not others

Windows 10. Intel UHD Graphics. I play on a laptop, if that makes any difference.
I have tried importing LOD 0 into all LODs. The weights issue doesn't appear in CAS. Only in-game. LOD 0 looks fine in-game as well but it's when it gets to either LOD 1 or 2 that the issue happens.

You should not import lod0 in all lods because it is the only one that should have 2 meshgroups. You should also not decimate the whole mesh, Save as that file and import it in different lods. The lower lods are not affected by all bones that your decimated mesh is, so you would be introducing new ones, which is something that leads to these distortions. Here is a tutorial that shows how to make proper lods.

I followed the tutorial and the weights issue in the ankles is now gone. Though now I am seeing a weights issue in the spine, but it's only in the thumbnail, not in CAS or game.

No, that is not good, it will be in other people's game in CAS, share the updated package and all blends you imported in lods please

That was something that happened before and I was able to fix it then and now. So now the package is good to go. Thanks for your help!
