andrew I do have script mods enabled and both files, for the pose player and teleporter, are in the mods folder, not a subfolder. But it's not working.

I have recently gotten back into doing some sim stuff, and have been having an issue with the Pose Player.
When I select a pose, the window to select poses keeps popping up and I have to hit the 'x' at least 3 times before it closes. If I selected another pose, it keeps popping back up to select more poses. Is this something new, or anyone know how to fix it? It's annoying!

mrsmouse, can you check the in-game mods list to make sure that the game is seeing the pose player in both the "Custom Content" and the "Script Mods" sections?  Also can you check your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/ folder for a lastException.txt file? wrswrs2 it was requested by many people to have a way to easily queue up multiple poses from the same pack. This was done by not closing the popup after selecting a pose, but only when clicking the close button. You can also close the menus quickly by hitting the escape button 3 times. I know that it is not ideal, but the annoyance of having to close it 3 times for a single pose is not as bad as having to click your sim, scroll through a long list of pose packs to get to the one that you want, select the pose when you just want to select 5 poses out of a pack and play them in sequence.

Is there a pose player for iMac because I installed it and the pose player option menu doesn't show up

laurenaugustin188 the Mac version of TS4 does not typically use different mods than the Windows version. Please make sure that you read all of the troubleshooting steps in this thread, and in the download post for the pose player.

Edit: Just read previous posts and read the suggestion to move the pose player/teleport files into the main Mod folder (I had them in a subfolder) and now it's working. I should learn to read previous comments first!
Hi, I'm having a problem with the pose player in game.
I've recently installed the latest patch for The Sims 4 (1.46.18.1020) released on 16th August.
I have the pose player installed correctly in the Mods folder and script mods is turned on it the game settings.
My problem is that when I click on my sim, nothing happens. I don't get any interaction opens. I removed the pose player, logged back into the sims and it worked fine. When I reinstalled the pose player (I downloaded it again) and the problem returned.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it without removing the pose player?

So I just downloaded the pose player and teleporter. They are the only mods I have right now, other than a poo ton of clothing and hair cc. From what I can tell, I downloaded the most recent version. My game is up to date, the box is checked to allow script mods, the files are in the correct folder, but neither one of them are working. With the teleporter, nothing happens when I click either option (summon or teleport). And when I click on my sim, I don't have any pose option. Does this need to be updated again? Does it work with only the base game? I don't have any expansions or anything. I've never messed with mods before, am I doing it wrong? Iv'e been having this same issue, can anyone help? |

I just realized I never commented on here again, but I got it working. Turns out it was conflicting with some other random mod I had in the folder, but the mod conflict detector program wasn't catching it. I had to remove all the mods and add them in sections to determine what was causing the issue. I don't even remember what it was now, but the pose player and teleporter ARE working.

@kbellamy and mrsmouse I'm glad that you got it working, and thanks for posting back with the solution to your issue. 22awendl08 can you try removing all mods and CC except the pose player? If it works that way, then you have a mod conflict. |

Hello. I've recently downloaded the poseplayer, I didn't download the transporting thing, and I've tried to install it on my game yet it doesn't work. I've read above posts which means : I checked it is in both script mods and custom content section, I've enabled script mods and custom content in game options and I've removed everything but the pose players files out of my mods folder and I've opened the game with only the pose player and two pose packs suggested on the main form, the only change this mod makes to my game is that it adds the effect player to my build modes CC item section. My games version is 1.4.5.somthing.something so it isn't the 1.4.6.bla.bla version is it possible that the player will work with a updated game version ? Oh I also tried putting the mods file directly into the mods folder Thanks for your attention  |

Edit: Scripts for sim pose player are malfunctioning in the french version of the game, for some unknown reasons.

Is it possible to get an alternative download link to the pose player? Unfortunately none of my browsers can load gooogle related sites such as google drive. Would that be a possibility? Thank you!

Ive since downloaded the new version after it was broken - but now the new downloads are causing all sorts of problems.
1. Sims cant use their phone - it keeps cancelling the action & if it succeeds, it always causes an exception error
2. Sims keep resetting - especially when eating, then all meals reset to on floor
3. When using the teleport mod to pose, exception error is created and sims reset
4. Sims dont get through their commands, need to be reset constantly
5. Also, everytime I teleport two sims to the statue, they move because they are "reacting positively to other persons presence"
-> there may be more but they are the most noticeable
All previous versions deleted.
I removed all other mods and CC and tested this in game - issues continued
I deleted cache and last exception file
& when I removed the pose player and teleport mod, everything worked perfectly again.
Help!
