I downloaded Andrew's effect player but I can't get it to show in the game, no matter what.
I tried taking the files out of the folder and putting them directly into the mods folder and I tried moving out all other mods as well, but the player simply doesn't turn up.

rems I have updated both the effects list and the animations list for Get Famous. lzzles did you make sure that both mods and script mods are enabled in your game? Also make sure that you have the latest patch released this month.

Hi Andrew! I downloaded the the latest patch, extracted it, and put it my mods folder. It doesn't seem to work for me. Am I doing something wrong?

It's now coming up in my game. I deleted all the files and re-uploaded them. They're working now. :D

Hey there!
So i updated to the new pose player twice with the new updated version, and i have script mods enabled and scanned my game twice and i dont have any old copies and keep getting script errors for pose player. Am i still doing something wrong?? It was at least letting me use poses last time i played and now i cant use poses or the statue. I also am updated to the latest game patch as well

Hi fufu508 and thanks, to be honest it's been only a few days since I started using the mods on sims 4 but I look at the tutorial tutorial to install them For my problem I do not know what happens but after 3/4 reinstalling the mod and even installing it as a first mod, and uninstalling the game, the bubble "pose by pack" does not appear |

Hi djalban A couple things that may help us get further in understanding your issue: Some mods, such as Andrew's Pose Player, VFX Player, and some other animation-related mods, contain a ts4script file. Ensure that you extract files for such mods into your Sims 4\Mods folder, or one folder within, e.g. Sims 4\Mods\mods with scripts - if you put it too deep in sub-folders the game may not find it. To ensure the game found it, one thing you can do is have the game show the list of installed mods it knows about. The example below doesn't show the pose player (my computer's busy and can't play the game right now) but normally you'd see the pose player listed.
Assuming you see Andrew's pose player listed in your game, what pose packs are you trying to use with it?

Thanks djalban for the screen shots. I see from observing the size of the scroll bar on your mods list that you have several mods. Have you tried temporarily moving all the other mods out of your game except a few select mods, i.e. the pose player, and the emo pack? Below is an example with most of my mods removed.
Important: You should see andrew_poseplayer listed twice.
Once in the custom content section and once in the script mods section. And of course the custom contents and script mods allowed options must both be selected.
If you don't see both instances of andrew_poseplayer as shown above, ensure they are in the right place.
They work in the location shown below, a folder within the Mods folder. Don't forget you have to unzip the file and put the two extracted files, not the zip file itself, into your Mods folder structure. They should look like the list above (or may not show the .package and .ts4script part if your computer is not configured to show that information):
If you find it works that way, with most of your mods set aside, then you need to use "divide and conquer" to find which mod(s) cause the issue. 1. Start by putting back half the mods, see if it breaks, if not, put half the remaining mods back. 2. If that still works, put back half of the mods still remaining, until you find the culprit(s).
3. On the other hand, if it breaks when you first put half of the remaining mods back, take half of those back out.
The process is similar either way; you are removing or adding half of the mods depending on whether that change affects the pose player.
