This method works to make skin tight garments like many of EA's tops are and requires the use of either the nude top or nude bottom as the base. If you use it on a garment with any mesh other than those it won't work.

But I did use the nude bottom.

This tutorial makes skin tight clothes. A skirt is not skin tight...it requires a mesh other than just legs.

Hi my100401, I'm not certain what the problem is from just a picture. Could you explain what you've done and, perhaps post a picture of the image you're importing into the .package?

Hi Orangemittens, thanks for the full body packages made available on the initial post.
I am finding I can't add a swatch to them without creating a CAS item that crashes the game (if I try to select the second swatch in CAS).
I've tried using a few versions of Sims4Studio (beta/stable), but always have the same problem. Simply creating that second swatch and saving (no other changes) is enough to cause the crash.
Does it work for you, or is there a workaround? You mentioned these packages would be included in Sims 4 Studio soon, I couldn't find them but would be glad to know if they're there or still coming soon.

After I complete step 5, I click cancel like you say and it goes back to what it looked like in the beginning. I have no option to recolor like you do. I am using the same version of Sims 4 studio as you but it wont come up for me to recolor.

Yes bobbins it works for me or I wouldn't have posted these. Can you send me your .package that is crashing?
shawnagjones, I apologize because I didn't update the picture for Step 5. When you click Cancel it will take you back to the first screen you saw when you opened Studio as you say. That is what should happen. You should select Create CAS Standalone and click the CAS button again just as you did in steps 1 and 2 and then continue with the tutorial from there. I will update the tutorial to show the updated screen soon.

Thank you! How do I do this with a dress? I use the tutorial but it makes it into shorts and not a dress. I can't find any tutorials on how to make it so it goes as a dress.

This tutorial shows a method that will only work for skin tight clothes that don't require a mesh to give the garment its shape. Dresses require a mesh to give them a shape so this tutorial won't work for them.

bobbins, I have tried repeatedly to duplicate the problem you've reported and I am not able to. I can add swatches to the nude full body without a problem. I tested both male and female before I uploaded them and I've just retested the female nude full body now. In order to say what is going wrong for you I need to see your .package after all. The easiest way to share files is by getting a drop box account.

bobbins, the two .packages you sent work fine in my game. I am able to switch back and forth between the swatches with no problem.

Thank you orangemittens, that's much appreciated! I've just gone in and tried it again and was surprised that it no longer crashes for me either. I'm guessing this may be due to error handling in the recent patch... and it looks like all works well, but in experimenting further I noticed that I still have an issue in that the second swatch doesn't actually get applied. This is only noticeable if you pick the second swatch first... (because the results of the two swatches would look identical, so you can't tell if the second one is not being applied if you pick the first one first). Does that make sense? Do you have the patience to see if there's anything to that? Sorry for the on-going saga!
