Wow, yes, a stork! I've never seen a stork before let alone a black one. I can see it in your photo, it's probably a very shy animal. Even when I do go out in nature with my husband we rarely see any wild life. Maybe it's because we always have a dog with us lol! I will try to find my pics of the ducks that lived in our pool for awhile but other than that I can't think of any other wild life photos that I might have. Have fun on your nature walk tonight and I look forward to seeing more photos. It sounds beautiful in the Netherlands btw. Haha, yeah the dog can be the problem not seeing wildlife :P I would love to see the ducks! Very curious about what kind of ducks the were. And about other wildlife, no interesting insects out there? Or only Spiders you rather walk around in a big circle then make pictures of it? My walk that night wasn't as good as the one before by the way. The light was beautiful, but it was getting dark to fast and the deer were not as close as before. Only just before we went back to home I spotted a male red deer very close and "ran" right through the forest to get to the fence and see him walk just 20 metres in front of me. I do have video and pictures but as it already was very dark they aren't that good. Anddddd... I'm probalby going back tonight again with a friend of mine and the rest of the week I'm going for a short holiday of three days to another nice place in The Netherlands to watch some birds, Scottish Highland cows and I hope to see the only European Bison living in the Netherlands. And also just like the red deer, they're living in an enclosure. For the safety of both human and animal itself. sweetsorrowsimsFirst of all I have a really good zoom: 24x. But the red deer of the photo wasn't that far away. I think they get used to people going to watch them, especially in this time of the year when they try to be the best looking and tuffest red deer male of them all so they can get away with the 26 female red deer....to make some more... And sometimes there are these people, who bring there dog with them and of course a dog smells those deer too and starts barking at them. And that's the point everyone who's standing there making photos en video get's a bit irritated But I think it irritated the people more then the deer, they don't even react on these moments. About where I live: I'm living in the south of the Netherlands, somewhere near "Eindhoven". And Fred is looking very cute! Is that an adult porcupine? It's looks quite small..? I can understand that they can be a big disaster for your dogs. Your dogs probably were just curious and the porcupines thought that they could be the dogs next meal And as far as I know those quils have those nasty little hooks at the end so they can't get out very painless.

taintedbunniiIt's alway nice to witness the breeding proces of baby birds! And I totally recognize what you're saying about the sound of little birds practicing to fly in their nest. When I lived at my parents home I got a really big aviary (which still is there by the way) and I kept different kind of birds in there like budgerigars, some cockatiel, kakarikis and some more and I made some videos of the breeding process of some of them like this one of the budgericars: For the people interested, you can find much more videos I made about nature/animals on that youtube channel: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BakieProductions<<<<<<<<<<<<
(Animals in Zoos, Maro videos, birds etc.. ) Also made some very nice videos of VERY curious Humpback whales I made during an eleven days long boat trip in Greenland in 2012: Another nice video I made was during my time I worked in a bird park myself many years ago. I was feeding the biggest flying bird in the world, The Andean Condor, when the bird was coming towards us instead of the food my colleague ran out of the aviary, leaving me alone with this (kind of) dangerous bird. And the watering-can I took with me was emty (This bird was for some silly reason afraid of water): Just one more (I'm watching my videos again since a very long time! ) There were only a few people who were "immune" for getting attacked by the King Vulture and I was one of them I even managed to stroke his head for a couple of seconds at the end of the video:

sweetsorrowsims omg! that porcupine is so cute! I wouldn't be holding one that close for sure! Our old dog (quite a few years ago) got shot by porcupine a couple of times. The second time we had to take him to the vet and the vet anesthetized him in order to pull all the quills out. Our dog was a pitbull and the vet said he'd never done this procedure on a pitbull before so didn't want any surprises lol! Also the vet said some dogs never learn about porcupines. another story that I have lol! Recently our son's dog, a beauty of a golden retriever named Maggie, rolled in a dead porcupine and got all quills stuck in her neck and her hip. And you are right Bakie the quills are 'barbed' and poor Maggie got them all stuck under her skin. The vet had to put her to sleep (temporary) and dig them all out. She had two huge wounds and major stitches up her neck and down her leg and hip. My son has to be more careful and not let her run too far away from him when he takes her to the forest. Poor baby dog :( Bakie omg! your videos are amazing! my cat's head swirled around when I turned the sound on my speakers. The sound of all the birds chirping alerted him! That one is amazing; the one where the vulture is chewing on your shoe! omg! That's the weirdest looking bird I've ever seen lol! And of course the condor is so majestic! I'll watch them all again too! Very very good videos! Thank you. Ducks in a pool seem silly to me now. But I'll post them later.

simtressNice photos of the ducks! The story of your dog with all the quills stuck in her skin sound aweful for your dog. (And for the vet for pulling them all out :P ) Thanks for you compliments about my videos. There will be coming more, but I just don't know when as I'm also very busy with my Gaming channel. The last video on that "Nature" channel is from months ago...

That fawn is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! omg, it made me tear up a bit at how innocent and beautiful they are. *sorry I get emotional* And the baby birds are so cute. But what is that? A raccoon? Coming out of a bottle? lolol! It's not a pet is it?
