Hi, So I've been trying to make some renders of the Sims 4 rabbit, but the rig and mesh don't line up; the mesh is standing, while the rig is sitting down. How can I get these two matching? I tried modifying kitten & small dog rigs, but the animation's just wonky. Even though there are exportable rabbit/object animations.

Are you trying to pose it? If so, you can unfold the rig, click on pose, enter pose mode then pose the rabbit. Unless I'm misunderstanding what it is you're trying to do.

Hopefully it's okay to resurrect this thread! I'm having the same issue as stated above. (i.e, the mesh is a standing rabbit, but the default "T-pose" rig is a sitting one). Currently i'm trying to load in EA's animation (o_rabbit_react_positive01_animalRabbit to be precise). But when it's animating it's just like a rubber band and not looking good... Fwecka (Lolabellesims) , I did try your suggestion, but the rig itself by default is sitting, so the unfolding isn't working here unfortunately :/ Here's a link to the blend file if anyone wants to check it: simfileshare.net/download/4592326/

ah jumping on this! I've been trying to figure out why the animations aren't working and this may be why. All I wanted to do was download the rabbit, edit the mesh a little, and reupload it as a new object. How did you guys download it? I followed this tutorial and I thought my issue was something to do with the vertex groups not matching the order of bones and then a weights issue but I think you may be right on the fact the rig is sitting. I just dont really get how it can work fine in game and then not in blender?
