Hello! Whenever I try to insert a bed (both cc and not cc beds) into a house (I've tried multiple lots), the bed disappears
Any FIX? Thanks

There is a fix you can do via Sims 4 Studio posted by Peacemaker. As far as in game beds I was having the same issue placing a bed and disappearing after I removed all my CC beds. I moved the Mods folder onto my desktop along with my saves and tray folder. Then I deleted the whole Sims 4 folder so when I start the game it would give a fresh folder. The only mod I am using at the moment is MCCC mod. Started the game then closed it and moved some of my Mods from the Mods folder back in game (pretty much the cc I use on my Sims) And it worked fine after that. I sure miss my CC beds though and may try the tutorial to fix at least my favorite sets. I agree with the above comment. Not only do I have a ton of mods, but I also have little knowledge about modding. I know enough to obtain and use them, but that's it. So for those like me, a batch fix would be greatly appreciated!

So for those like me, a batch fix would be greatly appreciated! I have zero experience with creating mods and so on as well. I use a ton of mods as well as loads of CC. I keep checking back for news on a batch fix. I still want to play my game while waiting for the fix so I went through all of my folders and did a search for the words Bed , Double Bed and Bedroom to take out my CC beds and add them to a new folder on my desktop for safe keeping. I started my game and still had the error. I went back to in game and build mode and there was still a CC bed somewhere and for hours I couldn't find it. Then I noticed one merged file in my folder and used Sims 4 Studio to unmerge the package file and there it was. From past experiences with mods and CC I never merge my packages anymore for that very reason. I hope there is a fix real soon! |

I also need this fix. I just took all my beds out that literally just took me hours, and sadly every time I try a batch fix on sims 4 studios it’s giving me an error code out of no where and I can’t fix anything. This is extremely frustrating

I fixed my cc beds by following directions from peacemaker, who is the only one I've found that has updated their beds. I know zero about making cc, but this was very easy, it just took me a long time to do it because of the many beds I have. Btw, about merging packages, if you have a lot of them, merging them really does save time off of loading the game. I keep all of my cc organized and backed up in a separate location and I merge them for the game. If I need to find a broken file or batch fix them, etc. I do it with the separate packages and then re-merged them. I found that the amount of time that is reduced is well worth it. |

That is a great tip on merging. I have another drive so I will send copies of my CC there and then do the merging. |
