Like the thumbnail creation batch process, I would love to see a second version created to add a background to thumbnails. It would preferrably be separate from the thumbnail option for those that would like to use it. It would help differentiate cc and also cut down on package size since transparency really bloats the size when you have a lot of swatches.
Also maybe more "clear thumbnail cache" under content management. Not sure about everyone else, but I often click that instead of "thumbnail overlay" and with no option to confirm clearing the cache, it can be annoying having to go ingame to regenerate thumbnails for not paying attention.

Hi! I'd love to see changes in tags to be applied to all swatches you have selected using CTRL or SHIFT! This would mean it would become faster to tag hairs with for example Allowed For Random because you can Shift Select only the natural shades and change just the random tag for those with just a click! (The reason you don't allow unnatural shades for random sims is because they get put on EVERY townie)

Thank you for the improvements to the walls and floors creation tools in the recent update. I make a lot of walls and floors so it's very much appreciated.
I've just created a recolour of a wall using my usual studio.exportall and studio.importall method, and it still didn't automatically create the thumbnails, so I did what I usually do, and went in and imported each short wall again as a second step to generate them after using the studio.importall cheat.
Is auto-generation of thumbnails in this instance something that is planned for the future?

It'd be nice to be able to pick Parenthood's acne as a category for things, instead of having to make sure to clone the acne first.

Is it possible to get an option to do stand alone recolors for the trim and Friezes in build mode and columns too.

Specular and normal render in s4studio viewport :P Great suggestion! I've been wanting this for a long long time. FOr the specular preview, i can provide an enviroment map that can be used to preview the reflections. It can be blurred out software wise accordingly to the specular map colors

I'm not sure if it's even possible, but how about a placeholder effect for things like running water, breakage points, or vines (from stragerville)? The triangles are nice, but they don't help much with fine tuning.
Even just an orange cone for running water would save a lot of time since you wouldn't need to constantly reboot the game to make sinks and such.

If it's possible, it would be helpful to be able to search for 2 words when exporting tunings like 'garden' and 'sim' or something like that. I don't think it needs to be more complicated than that, just something to help narrow down tunings we might be looking for. Thanks for all your hard work!!!

Not sure how feasible this is, but I would seriously love it if, when Exporting Tuning, whenever you search/click a tuning file you would see it's ID number before "Adding to current package". It would be such a time saver when looking up various ID's to reference.

S4S doesn't currently recognise the "Acne" slot for skin details added by Parenthood. If you clone one of the acne details then the drop-down box is just blank. It'd be nice to see acne recognised as a valid slot to make it a more usable category.

With GF, a new tag to satisfy vane sims was added to all mirrors. It would be helpful to either add this as a batch fix or to the studio tab under the function section to make it easier to update items. Having to manually add this function tag is going to be incredibly time-consuming.
Edit: we really need a way to add tags to multiple resources at once without having to rely on S4S being updated to include them. I am now onto fixing candles as well so they work properly on off-the-grid lots and there is a number of tags associated with getting them to work (not to mention updated tuning). Perhaps an 'other' section in the tags tab with a textbox where we can input the corresponding number for the tag we want and the option to apply to all swatches. It would also ideally list the other tags not shown in other categories in case we need to remove them too. I would hope something like this would be implemented to solve the problem of missing tags needed for updating older cc without the tedium of editing each swatch in the warehouse, but also making it easier for the developers not needing to add all the new tags to the studio tab in the future as well.

I agree, if we had a way to select the tags we want and do a custom batch fix for the whole folder that would be awesome. A lot of creators forget to tag their items correctly, if at all. I also like to change catagories to my preferences so there is that. Now if there was away to make people tag the colors right life would be perfect. In a perfect word right?

Would be great to have some sort of batch fix to make all CC objects that float in pools and/or fountains to float in the oceans too. Or a checkbox in the Object Catalog section that makes it possible for objects to float in oceans.
