I'd like a way to force the sort of related items in the catalog other than by price. For example, the floating candles I recently built is a collection of different packages, each with a different height to the candle's mesh and light effects. It'd be nice, in the catalog, for them to appear in order of elevation, rather than just all mixed up, but I've no idea how to do that. All I can do is isolate them together by giving them a non-often used price, to the extent that I sometimes go into mods I've downloaded from other players and reprice their stuff just so it doesn't overlap in the catalog with mine.

I've been using a program by GameTimeDev to sort and organize CC. It reads your mods folder, and dynamically sorts things into categories based on tags in the package file- incredibly useful stuff. Thing is, it cannot generate thumbnails. You'll only see an image if the package already includes a custom thumbnail. Purely for the sake of compatibility with a program like this, I'd like to see a batch "Add Thumbnail Overlay" command that takes the existing thumbnail overlay functionality and simply applies an invisible or single pixel overlay to any items in your mods folder, automatically forcing them to appear in a program like this. I think this would genuinely revolutionize the process of sorting and deleting CC outside the game. The current process for deleting unwanted CC is to load up the game, find the CC, save it onto a sim or a lot, save the sim or lot to your library, open them in S4TI, find the CC in the CC tab, find its location, and delete it. With a batch to add thumbnails the process would become "Open this program, find it, and delete it".

If possible please add tags for the various furniture styles.

I second adding a tag category for furniture styles.
Also would it be possible to add a warning popup for clearing the thumbnail cache? Because of it's location i often mistakenly click it while getting to the thumbnail overlay option , and then I have to go back in-game to generate the thumbnails again. Even just moving the "clear thumbnail cache" option to content management would be helpful.

Really loving the new beta so far, but definitely some suggestions 1. would love a button text size increase. It's a little small for me, and I have decent eyesight so i can imagine some might be struggling. Even if relegated to the settings menu 2. Yay for the tooltip section under the description. Any chance we can get another box for furniture styles? (yes, I am aware I keep mentioning this 😅 ). Not sure the description is completely accurate though. Some of those attributes you add via tooltips don't require a change in tuning (like ambiance status effects) so it might be worth adding "might or" "may not affect" 3. Cutout Info Table bounds are not editable like previous versions. Adding that back would be very helpful

Hi Peacemaker, thank you for pointing out the font size. The font will be increased to improve ease of reading. Could you clarify which furniture styles for which you would like a box? The Cutout Info Table bounds editability was affected by the changes made to use themes. This issue will be fixed in an upcoming version. The warning for the tooltips will be adjusted as well.

Nothing to report, just wanted to share my infinite gratitude and appreciation for your work, I'm so happy to finally be able to learn the blender 3 and just the idea of the software still being improved is so so nice. So thanks a lot to Andrew and all the S4S team for all your time <3

Hey I really want to thank all of you who works on studio and brings us so many new fatures and updates I have suggestions for new Stars Studio version. When I go back from warehouse to studio tab camera reset back to base instead staying as it was before. It's a little annoying when I change tabs often and I think it was not like this in previous Wishes version, or it was and I noticed it now? Is it possible to add for sort layer something like "change for all swatches"? I can't count how many times I forgot to change sort layer and had to do it by hand for all swatches :D And one more, at least for me, option that would be helpful: Adding color to all swatches without changing existing ones. For example I have palette with colors done but there is a black color in texture too and now I am ticking it for all swatches by hand

Thank you, Andrew and the team here at Sim4studio - This is one of the most helpful applications I know of to see the "guts" of files. Your time, effort, and continuing updates are most definitely appreciated - basically, I cannot say thank you enough!!!

Maxis has been adding quite a few more styles since the game released, and being able to easily edit them like the new tooltips section would be helpful (especially for objects with multiple swatches). It's the section shown in the image linked below via warehouse tab: drive.google.com/file/d/10-GLYPrN9brOKWaw2ATRS58XduvOnj_K/view?usp=sharingI have been compiling a list of all styles that have been added for my own use and anyone that needs a reference to add them manually, but would love to see it more accessible so it can be utilised by creators easily. Here is the link to the list: peacemaker-ic.tumblr.com/post/124714853379/style-tag-resource-keys

I think one feature I would love for the future is linking/reusing textures for items that use multiple textures on an object. Being able to share a texture between swatches can really help with reducing package file sizes. An example of this would be counters.
Right now if I want to link a texture between multiple swatches, I export then delete the texture via warehouse, then add swatches which forces it to reuse that one texture, then import it back in. This method however only allows one of the textures to be linked, so it can be limited. If I want to add swatches where I change the countertop texture but want to reuse the counter cabinet texture after the initial linking for the first countertop texture, I am unable to do that as there isn't a way using my primitive method to achieve this. It's more of an advanced feature, but something I would still like to see.

I have another wishlist item I would love to see is being able to import and edit dirty textures for objects that support it. This has been something that myself, and probably many other creators would love to be able to customise, especially if our objects greatly differ from the base object. Currently manually adding and editing is quite tedious, especially for kitchen items, so having it automatically imported, renumbered and accessible via the warehouse tab would save so much time and effort required to currently customise them

Just like how Sims4Studio remembers the size of window when you exit, it would be nice for it to remember the size of the columns in the table in the Warehouse section. Even with the new Tuning Editor tab (an amazing addition!) I have to switch to the Warehouse every so often and I have to re-adjust the size of the columns every time I open a new file. With some projects I end up spending a lot of time resizing columns. If that's not an option, if it would remember the order of the tabs that would be helpful too. That way I can move the instance number or name to the first column and it would show up like that every time I opened it.

Any chance the model for viewing roof patterns could be altered to include a roof piece without a gable end, like the hipped roof? It's not currently possible to view edits to the Atlas texture unless you load the game because of this.
