I read through and saw a few requests for a dark mode theme, I would like to toss my hat in and request this also.

1. Shift-clicking a series of elements in the Warehouse (such as Wall, Catalog Definition, etc.) to allow us to update all of the selected properties (object tool tips, etc.) at once. 27 swatches of one wall, I'm flipping their environmental scores, which takes can be done all at once, but then updating their object tool tips is one at time, tedious.
2. Hitting escape dismisses dialog boxes.

Would still love an option to import and renumber dirtmaps for objects that support it. Doing it manually is tedious, especially if you have all the swatches (only options are delete all swatches but one and edit, or manually update for all swatches).

Would love to see a batch fix to remove a selection of tags from an item to "solve" miscategorized items without having to one-by-one edit them. I'd rather remove all the color tags from something than have to go in to 20 different swatches of 20 different items and change them by hand. Every single one of these is tagged "White" and the only way to fix it is spend an hour and a half doing it manually (for several sets of items, not just these), or not use the items at all. A middle ground would be appreciated. And if we wannt get truly wild, maybe a way to auto-tag items colors based on the RGB value of their swatch thumbnails, which is information S4S has access to. I doubt that's feasible though.

That might work for EA content, but not for modded. For example, when I assign swatch colors to things, especially a painting or poster mod which I typically include anywhere from 12 to 35 swatches, I start on the right-side of the color palette, work my way down assigning swatch colors regardless of the content, go the next-right column, go down that column, etc.
Applying your suggested technique to my content won't get you anywhere. I do sample each texture for things like doors and curtains and such to set the swatch color, but for 30 beer can textures? Nay.
Edit: Also, regarding RGB values, some people may see a teal color as green, others might see it as blue, so Andrew would need to maintain a dictionary, or establish an index, of what is considered "red" versus "red-ish" and what do you when people interpret subtle colors differently?

I noticed the "update CAS cc for all genders" option, but it does not appear to do what I expected.
Can we get a batch fix that simply toggles both "Female" and "Male" for the category selections, so that CAS erroneously tagged as just for female or male sims shows up for either?
The fashion preference setting determines which catalog it shows up in by default, so even changing these options doesn't result in a visual change in-game until the player selects which preference items they want visible.

Please Please can we get a batch fix in CAS for Restrict Opposite Gender, also a batch fix in CAS for Restrict Opposite Frame. If we could do these separately OR together it would be absolute heaven and I wouldn't spend hours setting these options for every single file I don't want to be used by the opposite gender. Thanks for all your hard work and time, it is greatly appreciated by so many.

This might be an absolute crazy idea, but if we could set the preferences in CAS and save them as a dat file or something of that nature that we could load and then do a CAS batch fix for a large group of files. That would be so helpful and save so much time. Just thought I would throw the idea out in the universe of S4S magic.

For override mods - how about a batch find/replace for all tuning?
For instance, I've made an unlocker for the Grim Reaper to do things like swim and have romances. Right now I have to go into every single tuning part I've imported and change what I want one at a time. It would be a lot more efficient if I could just find an replace a string instead.

Trying to decide whether to batchfix my current unbatchfixed downloads tonight or some other day, so, while it's on my mind... pretty please with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry on top, could we have either one or two batchfixes that perform the same function as the combination of Disallow for Random, Disallow for Aliens, Allow for Aliens, Disallow for Vampires, Allow for Vampires, Disallow for Spellcasters, Allow for Spellcasters, Disallow for Mermaids, Allow for Mermaids? i.e. the end result should be that there will be NO random assignment at all ever (unless I turn it back on for specific items that I'm sure aren't gonna get voted off the island), but the items in question should be available to all occults in CAS for the player to use if they feel like it? I know it'd be easy for adding fiddly batch operations to get out of hand, but I feel like that is a fairly sought-after combination of settings and right now it is nine different batch operations that produce nine different backups, so... that would be an extremely large quality of life improvement. <3 I feel like the introduction of a new occult is a good time to make this suggestion again. One batchfix, NO random use of any kind allowed (might need to include some situation outfit categories or something too?), all deliberate use allowed. (Or two batchfixes, one to lock down all random use and the other to enable all deliberate use.) Biggest quality of life improvement possible for me at this point, and I'm sure many others.

I'm not sure how common this is, but when I make slider compatible makeup I formulate custom slider values for each swatch based on the saturation/brightness. I wish there was a way for the Palette feature to save this info.
I also wish the batch fix folder location would remember the last-used folder instead of defaulting to the root mods folder.
Additionally, there seems to be a need for a batch fix to remove the reaction buffs and/or tags leftover from using nude clothing as a base.
Thank you!

I do all of this manually on content I wish not to be used by the opposite, and know how time consuming this is. So a batch fix for Part Flags: Restrict Opposite Gender and Restrict Opposite Frame would really save simmers a lot of time. And maybe one to remove all the Arch Types completely.

Thanks for all your hard work and time, it is greatly appreciated by so many. And here I was thinking I was the only one doing that :P. Seriously though, the option would have to be two-fold, as certain CAS items are assigned to both male and female frames, not just appearance styles, so the batch program would have to be programmed to choose which one to restrict by gender by first selecting which gender is supported, and that's a matter of taste, not programming. For example, I have a directory full of mods that restrict males from wearing items that I think are too feminine, whereas someone else might want to do the exact opposite, restrict shared CAS items from female Sims that appear to masculine.
It would mean having two batch programs, not one, to address both scenarios above, and then users would pick which way they'd want to restrict.
