I have left the most important thing one desire - an easy job with the group material (for example, to change to a transparent cloth or glass). And this program will be perfect!! :D Or if you already have such an opportunity to make a tutorial how to work with it. Thank you so much!!

I don't know if there is already a feature for this (maybe I haven't found it), but it would be nice to be able to tell after you have made an item if you made it as a recolor or a 3D mesh. I sometimes accidentally select recolor when I mean to do 3D mesh, and then I get in game and of course, it needs the mesh. But I haven't found a way to look at my item before going in game to see it. (does that make sense?)

It would be nice to have the ability of sorting CC by type in "My CC". Something like the "Details" sorting of files in Windows, where you can sort them by date of creation, size, file extension, etc. Naturally, in this case, it would be helpful to sort CC by CAS, CAS bottom, CAS top, Buy deco object, Buy comfort object, Build doors, Build window, walls, etc. Thanks!

just wanted to ask (not sure where to ask about it). I noticed that some of make up items like lipstick look different in game and CAS not due to the shape of lips but due to rendering I guess. I tried on different shapes of the lips making them as close as on the model in S4S but in CAS and game lipstick looks lighter. Will you be able to recreate CAS rendering mode in S4S? And the example of what I am talking about is in spoiler tags. Just wanted to post an update regarding this suggestion. Turned out that changing composition method from 4 to 0 changes the way lipstick looks in the game (it looks exactly the same as in S4S). I am not sure if it can be possible in future versions of S4S to see how composition method affects the way lipstick (tattoo, eyeshadows etc. ) textures will look in the game. Also changing swatch order in easy way would help tremendously.

Sorry it's not a suggestion about the program but about the forum : Thought that an indication about maternal langage could help, I case of someone who need help to understand something. There are wonderfull tutorial here, but it could permit to redirect someone to video or tutorial in the maternal langage. Or asking to a member of the translation team to help Have a good day

With the new June 2nd update, I would love it if in the next update of Sims4Studio you could make a Batch Fix that would allow you to make all of one set of CAS items to be just feminine or just masculine. I know it would help me a great deal in fixing a vast amount of CC CAS items I have.
Thanks, Miriah

The batch fixer adds the vertex stitch data needed to "convert" the mesh to fit the male or female rig (as the case may be). You don't need to worry about using it...if you don't like the result you can restore your CC back to pre-patch status by copying the contents of the backup folder Studio makes in the process over to your Mods folder. Any time Studio performs a batch fix it creates a full backup containing the original file for everything it edited. That is located in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Batch Fixes folder arranged by Date/Time

If an undo and redo option when right clicking in a tuning file could be added in a future update that'd be great

Since the release of dine out, it would be nice to have the new dining chair functionality and restaurant venue tags added to the tag tab for easy application to swatches. It would also be nice if there was a batch fix to update older chairs and tables made prior to Dine out where these new object changes can be applied like the required slots to snap to the bench seating for dining tables without having to completely remake the object or tediously edit them. It would save a lot of time for the past 1-2 years of content that has been made.
Also, I would love to see a styles section added to the tag tab. I do have a list of the codes that correspond to each style if that is needed. I update it periodically when new styles are added with the new packs.

It would be nice to have a button or checkbox that could change the orientation of the thumbnail view like EA does for rugs and food objects.

Also maybe could you add a drop-down in the CAS portion of the Category tab so you can see and change what type of makeup or skin detail it is. Right now I have to flip to the warehouse tab to see which makeup category it's in. Thanks

Just got this idea. Is it possible to add zoom or "open in new window" feature to preview textures on Studio tab in the package that doesn't contain mesh? That would be useful. Right now textures are too small to see if it's the texture that I want to keep or delete from the package that doesn't contain mesh.

Hi BrazenLotus, I've added this to the list.
Hi fsofs, the plan is to add those things to Studio as time permits.
Hi dingobear, I've added these batch fix ideas to the list.
Hi Reyovak, a Mac version is on the list. In the meantime you could try what AdonisPluto posted.
Hi lindsayskillings, doesn't the game already have a means of only finding Base game items?
Hi midnightpearl, due to the way object.packages are constructed it isn't possible to add a swatch to an EA object and still have it work with the design tool correctly. If you want to add a swatch to an EA item anyway you can edit the prototype ID in the Warehouse.
Hi feyona, I'm not sure exactly what you mean...could you explain this a bit more?

Hi orangemittens ,I felt that my explanation is a bit unclear... I made couple screenshots. Let's say I want to remove a few recolors from package with re-textures of hair (sweaters etc. but it will be more useful for hair) but I can't see color of the hair in 3D previewer since there is no mesh in the package. I can see a small texture in little window on the right but sometimes it's unclear if it's what I would keep in the package or remove. It would be amazing if we could open the texture right from studio tab. It would look something like this. With optional feature to scroll to zoom more. Especially with hair is difficult to figure out from small preview if it's the right tint of the hair. Or with sweaters, skirts etc. something that was squeezed in tiny space on the map and there is no way to see the pattern of this recolor on small preview. I hope I explained a little better
