I couldn't post this to the bug forum since I'm not allowed but for some reason but the MY CC browser in S4S is almost unusable for me. It works ok for CAS items but build buy items take 5 seconds at least to load and if they are items that stick to the wall it takes over 10 seconds to load. I have a very fast computer with plenty of HD space (SSD) and 32 gig of ram and a high end graphics card. I don't think it's me because it used to work just fine. The wall stuff was a little laggy but nothing like this. Is there something I need to change on my computer to speed it up?

That's what I am using and have always used. This one. I have also tried changing the hardware rendering settings and made no difference either. |

Could you please link one or a few examples of files that take a long time to load? I found the cause of it. I managed to find a few posts here and on the web of others who were having the same issue and it has to do with the amount of cc in your mods folder. I tested it numerous times and sure enough. The more CC I put back into my mods folder the more the My CC browser lagged :( It never did that until Star was released. At least there is some what of a work around to it though. Just have to move some files around and them put them back when finished. |
