Hi! I'm stuck at "image 4" I've tried circle select and border select and I tried extruding the lower part of the mesh and it looks like a bunch of dots sticking out. I don't think it's letting me select the vertices. This is like my 90th time trying to mesh and I always get stuck on this part.

I really enjoyed this tutorial, great explanation! eviltiptip I am at the bumpmap section and do not have photoshop, I understand that writing tutorials is a process and a half, but could you maybe show quickly how we can do the bump and map in gimp,or even paint.net? I at least know somewhat what I am doing with that so I will do it how I think. Here is a pic (but this is before the bump/spec maps). Thanks so much, I can finally make a swimsuit! :D

ok,I edited the uv map,the only problem is importing the texture I want.in ur tutorial you drew the texture by yourself in photoshop but I want to add a pre-edited texture(in .dds format)but when I import this texture it covers the whole body.do you have any solution for this?

On part 3.3, do you add 3 layers then? since you say the white backround and UV shouldn't be shown (I'm guessing unclicking the eyeball?) This is very confusing. Also what does save a back .psd to mean? A backup?

For someone who is using a new mesh how would you suggest they map it correctly? (3.2) (Image 6 )

Hi,I liked your tutorial and it was great!,thank you! I'm making my very first clothing for sims4 and I've created a complete new mesh, but I don't know how to modify it to be a proper cc in sims4.For example I don't know about its joints and the UV map is not compatible with blender. Can someone help me with this, because I haven't made any clothings at all so I don't know about adding new mesh too

FAE check out this tutorial here After you make your clothing item in MD you will save it as an object and will have to import it into blender as a wavefront obj. Then you will have to attach the body and do the uv mapping, after that delete any unnecessary polygons from the inner layer, now assign weights, vertex paint, and create your UV_1, and test it out in game. Hope that tutorial helps you out.
