I am stuck at step 1. When i open a .blend in Blender, I get an empty screen. No model shows up...does the sim models need to be download separately? I am sorry if this is a dumb question, well I think it is, but it is the first time I load up Blender, so i have no idea of any settings.

Thank you for this awesome tutorial! I never realised that UV mapping plays such a big part in meshing. Learning all I can about it! Will try it out step by step.

kymscreations it's probably the biggest part of CC making for the games since game models have to be low poly. And the only way to make them look good in the game is to create good looking textures which will look good only if the piece correctly uv mapped...

O i fully understand that. Just saying it's hard to convert the steps over for say like Gimp or paint. You could use Paint.net It's free and saves .dds files, it also uses tools similar to what is in paint tool sai

Hello, I've seen some CC tops, shoes and outfits that re-morphed the whole body into custom proportions, does anyone know how to do that? I want to make a 3D outfit, but I don't have photoshop nor a printer to transfer irl drawings onto PC. I don't have a tablet either, so my options for digital and irl drawing are veeeeeery limited. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks~ -Y.T.

For your "mesh" stop when you say "click the model" literally NOTHING happens. My cursor just looks like a target and I cannot get that mesh that just unexplainedly pops up for you. I've gone back and forth dozens of times making sure my screen matches yours. What is wrong here??

Hey I like your toturail. And i just started my first try. But right now i kinda of stuck at somewhere about UV mapping. As you wrote' 3.1 UVs basics',I do not understand which part did you select for UV mapping. The pic you show, its kinda of confuse, for example, you changed the layer, and you said you only need to select the bottom part of the female top right? but the pic blow, it looks like you select all female top UV mapping. But i only made little changes on bottom pants,do I need to select all the bottom ? or just the part I changed? If I select all bottom, I cant find my change on UV map...Can you give some help about UV seclet part? thank you soo much

What about UV mapping our own models? EA seems to displace my UV...I work with 3D, so this behavior in the sim models is odd. There's literally no tutorials...

Hi thanks for this tutorial but I'm confused about how to go from image 1 to image 2, it looks like you have created 2 different files, one for the base model and one for the top, is that right?
In image 4 what are you extruding the bra or the top mesh that you exported?
