Is there a tutorial how can I made a sim walk... I had so many problems long time ago with The Sims 3 and I never made a sim walk before. Also is there a tutorial where I can a sim hold an object? Not sure about the walking but here is a tutorial by inabadromance to incorporate objects with poses. HEREHehe thank you... xD

There is no walk tutorial for Sims 4 that I'm aware of. There are a couple of reasons for this. The first reason is that you will probably need an IK rig in Blender to create the animation there...you could do it with the rig that we currently have but it would be excruciatingly painful and I doubt anyone has the patience to do it let alone make a tutorial showing how to do it. The second is because Studio is not really dealing with the in-game IK yet. I haven't tried to round trip an EA walk animation and I'm not certain what the outcome of that experiment would be. The system EA is using in game is somewhat involved and we've been working on other things like CAS, objects, tuning, build items, and getting basic poses/anims set up. If anyone is interested in contributing knowledge of how EA's in-game IK works from a code standpoint our team would be very happy to work with them

hi sweetsorrowsims, first.. i see you there . And secondly, poses don't morph with sims' bodies. They are static. They can look ok with slim sims but not if they are a little chuby or other sizes. The problem you're having is that the base model that blender uses for doing the poses is the generic, normal body. Meaning that the waist size is wider than the one ur sims have. If you want your sim's hand to be closer to the skin, then move the arms way inside the skin in blender, even if it clips. It will work for your sim, but it may not look good for other sims. If they don't have that little waist hope it helped.

Hi, Hahaha So embarrased I am just so pumped that someone (YOU) wrote a tutorial on that and I have yet to use it, but I think about it VERY often! Thank you for replying on my post. I still am unsure of what to do..maybe I should do a poll on it...!? Or do a moving version... Hmmm... It did help, I was waiting for someone to comment before I went any further. So Thanks again.

One of the first poses I made will work for Sims of many sizes. It's uploaded in the links section if you want to take a look at it. You need to put the hands close on the model in Blender, or even clip a little for really slim Sims, then move the hands away from the model and set a key frame. The hands will move outward and as they do they will match Sims with different body types.

Thanks orangemittens I was thinking that was my only option to please everyone. I put a poll up in the creator help section to see what other simmers thought, probably a waist of my time, since I will be doing the latter. Thanks Again

Nice call orange!, that was going to be my suggestion. To do at least two different versions. But don't stress, poses will always clip here and there. Not only because of different sim sizes but clothing too.

I'm trying to use the S4S and Blender, but my model doesn't go into bind pose when I open blender. It just stands there with arms out.

Hi ohwinchester, the arms out position is also known as a bind pose. This distinguishes it from the hands at side position which is also called an idle pose.

Fuyaya, if you're interested in getting the face expression and eye movements sync'ed up Brujah wrote a tutorial that is posted HERE showing how to create a controller that makes it easier to deal with the eyes. If you try it out just be sure to follow it as-is and don't move things around in Object Mode. I think that it's quite possible problems following this tutorial that were reported occurred because bones were moved in object mode instead of in edit mode.
