How soon a pose box is developed depends on when someone takes up the project. When a pose box is developed Studio will make poses that are not default replacements so they will work with it.

I'm not sure if I'm just blind but I cannot seem to find the tutorial on how to stop the Events (talking and such) from happening.

Sry I was talking about the game-cas camera, I mean when you rotate the sim in Cas the trait animation stops.

I haven't figured out a way...that's why I make my poses rotate.

hi! For rotating the camera you have to use . or , (dot or comma). Depending on the language u use, the keys are the same like in game camera. Only rotates left - right.

Who knew? Lol...I guess I should take the time to actually play the game more often Thank you for the game tip.
I think for poses that aren't vertically placed in the center rotation might still be necessary. That feature is swinging the pose I made with the Sim laying on the floor all over the screen and underneath parts of the EA UI.

I would like to thank you for this tutorial. Believe it or not, I was quite confuse when you said to rotate the model, i didn't see the purpose, but i finally got it to work. I created my first sims 4 pose Although i see a mistake in the position of the arm on the second picture, it is a good start. I am just glad that i was able to follow your tutorial. Thanks again! martyp, I'm so glad the tutorial was helpful to you
I made my poses rotate because I was unaware that you could use the < and > keys on your keyboard to rotate the model in CAS without causing it to stop posing.
Right now I would say that unless your pose is not centered between the arrow it probably isn't necessary to make the pose rotate like that and I will update the tutorial accordingly.
That said, I think that making the pose rotate as described in this tutorial is probably the best way to display a pose if it isn't standing up or fairly centered in a limited place between the arrows. For example, one of the first poses I made was the pair where the Sim is posed lying on the floor. When I use the < and > keys to rotate around that in CAS it shifts the model underneath the traits buttons at the side of the screen making it difficult to take a screenshot.
Having the rotation built into a pose like that makes it much easier because the rotation is centered inside of the arrows instead of around them. There may be a way around that but I need to play with it a little more now that I know about the < and > rotation feature.

Yes at first i used the < and > keys to try to turn the model, when in fact it was only turning the screen all around the model, until i used the dot in the middle of her body called b__Rootbind__joint (which i didn't know it was the center dot of the body) and then i was able to use the white circle to turn the body it self. Then i knew i was on the right track. As for now , we can only use replacement traits, isn't it?

I wrote a second pose tutorial a day or so after the first which may help you a little more than this one. It goes more in depth on how to make the actual pose as opposed to just using Studio to get the pose into the game. That tut is here: . While Studio is able to make brand new poses as well as overrides the problem is we currently have no way to deploy brand new poses in CAS or in the game. Until there is some means of doing so Studio has that feature disabled so as not to cause confusion.
