You need to position the Sims so they're facing each other in object mode not in Pose mode. Once they're positioned and rotated so they're looking at each other and are standing close together then switch to Pose mode and make the rest of the pose.

Firstly, thanks for a fantastic tool; I'm having a lot of fun with everything Sims4Studio offers. I hope that I haven't missed the answer to my question somewhere else in this thread but I've read it a couple of times. Is it possible to reuse poses which I made for the sims 3, and change them for animation/poses in Sims 4? I have over 100 poses which I made for Sims 3 storytelling (I don't play the game) and the thought of remaking them from scratch makes me feel giddy. I have tried to do this without any instructions but as I only ever use blender for pose making, I know what I know, and what I don't know, I have no clue about! Needless to say my attempts so far haven't gone well. Thank you

Hi regencyrose, welcome to Studio forums...I'm really glad you're having fun using Studio Unfortunately the Sims 4 skeleton (rig) is different than the Sims 3 skeleton. Transferring your Sims 3 poses directly to the Sims 4 skeleton will only result in distortion. I wish I had a better answer but this was one of the first things I checked when Studio could do poses and that's what I found.

Hi again! I was wondering if we can make poses in Blender with objects? Actually, I found a mod elsewhere about an umbrella accessory (overriding a ring in-game) and I was hoping I can get that to show up in Blender while I make the pose?
Also, are we allowed now to move the eyes in a child rig? I can't seem to find the joints...

You can bring objects as props into Blender by appending the main mesh group of the object high LOD into your animation.

thought that was probably the case and it explains my results so far. I was hoping there was a sort of workaround which I hadn't yet found but obviously not. I will just have to knuckle down and get on with it Thanks again for the fab tool!
