How do you manipulate the eyelids? Like closing them for a pose? I find that it's easiest to right-click and hide the things that I don't use first (by pressing h). I'll leave the eyes and upper eyelids, but I hide everything else (in the eye regions) to make it faster/easier to get to the upper eyelids again. You'll need the upper eyelids selected by right-clicking on them. Then, if you press "r" and then "x," the eyelids move straight down. You're just rotating them downwards. @ Rosalisims: This is a very handy tip, but how to unhide?

This isn't a consolidation of information from Web documents and YouTube videos. . I doubt there is anything much about making Sims 4 animations there. I have a question if you dont mind.... so I downloaded 2.70 on my mac but it crashes :C so I had the question of, so are your guys sticking with 2.70 for the poses and animation or would you guys go to a new version of blender?

Hi onespurpose, you should be able to use Blender 2.76 or 2.78.

Hi onespurpose, you should be able to use Blender 2.76 or 2.78. Hi Orangemittens, Thank you for this tutorial! You should add 2.76 and 2.78 to your original post soon under the "What you will need" section, cause that is really good to hear!

Hi again, Thank you again for this tutorial OrangeMittens! I works well! That said, this method is useful for CAS, but I need something more permanent. Can anyone point me in the right direction for creating a mod like Stand Still in CAS by Shimrod101?

emboo2, I believe that the best way to do a mod like this is to download Shimrod's mod and investigate it.
