Hello, I am an absolute newbie at poses. I have the newest Wishes and it works for my other meshes however, the tutorial for beginner poses just does not match the Wishes interface AT ALL. I can't figure out how to select a trait, All it does it make a package. 1:Select Clip pack and then click Animation 2:Select package name 3: Then I am in a window Studio tab where I can name the clip pack, etc. and either import or export an icon. 4: I can export a rig blend file based on the sim type. There is No option for traits. What do I do? Sorry if this is not the correct place. I wasn't sure where to place it. You can always post in Creator Help section linking tutorial that you are having trouble with. But asking here is fine, too. There are only 2 options in that menu. Clip pack is for pose packs that will work with Andrew's pose player. When you create animation that replaces and animation of the trait you need to choose an override option. Use Animation -> Override and choose a trait from the list.

I have to ask hopefully its a simple question, but how do facial expressions work in blender?
The trouble I have is I cannot seem to get a sims mouth open no matter what I do. The main issue is simply, in Blender the mouth is open, but in game, shut. The rest of the pose works as it should but anything involving the mouth I am struggling with a lot.
Any advice is much appreciated.

There is a point on the head marked "Jaw" the minute I used this point, problem solved and mouth opened. I feel like a bit of a fool now, but, this is how we learn! :D Also, just in case somebody is looking, I can't access that post you linked for some reason?

Also, just in case somebody is looking, I can't access that post you linked for some reason? That thread is archived, only moderators can see it. But here is the post that fufu508 linked. Hi Simphobia, It shouldn't matter at which frame you save the blender file. That message "no new files packed" that comes up when saving is normal. Andrew pointed out where you can suppress that message if it bothers you. Regarding the pose itself, did you rotate (r) the jaw instead of using the g key to grab it? Only jaw rotation appears to show up in game. Also the easiest way to get a new pose working is to use the pose player starting with a blank pose and importing your blender file in on that. The key is you want your clip to have the suppresslipsync event and associated attributes to allow the jaw to move (rotate). Hope this helps

Can you update this with the 3.1.6 update? I am trying to follow, but can't find the search tool you talk about in step 1. Thank you

Hello everyone and a Happy New Year to the people who might already entered it in a different time zone. I still have two hours to go I have a problem with pose-making in blender and hopefully somebody can help me. I'm pretty new at it, so bear with me. (Also, English is not my first language, but I'll try my best). I've created a pose with two rigs and an object. In order to import my pose to S4Studio I copied the rigs individually, pasted them onto new models and saved them individually. (Ctrl + I, I, locrot, Ctrl + C and paste onto the new model, locrot again). The issue I have now is that it doesn't seem to copy the location and rotation of the b_root_bind bone correctly. The manipulated joints appear correct, but the pose is flying for example. Does somebody have an idea what could cause this issue? I reimported the file back into blender, adjusted the b_root_bind bone again but it still won't save the correct location (+rotation). I tried locRot and locRotScale but so far no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
