When making a light with glass, I always clone a table just because it's easier for me when importing. I copy the rig and lights binary from a similar lamp; however, when placed in game, the light doesn't look like its being emitted from the bulb of the lamp. How do I edit where the light FX of an object is emitted?

Okay, I don't think this is what I'm looking for. The light looks like its coming from the middle of the lamp.

You need to go into vertex paint, paint white where you want the light to be, and black where you dont want it to be.

If I change the intensity in the light section of the warehouse, nothing happened.

Hi tsarder, to be honest...I haven't done a whole lot of looking into editing the Light resource. There was a thread HERE where a couple people were tossing around findings with it. The interface has improved a bit since that time so there aren't so many unknowns. Give that a look-see...it might give you a jumping off point to continue examining this resource. Also, MisterS is right...check out the vertex paint on an EA lamp that is similar to what you're aiming for...vertex painting yours like theirs will improve the overall appearance of your lamp.
