I've just solved this on my computer! I am running on a mac. When it asks that it cant find your game path MAKE SURE that it leads to the ACTUAL sims 4 app on your computer... not sims4.app !! When the window opens with all of your paths click the "..." for game path go to your applications and select the sims game logo and then click ok!! Hope I can help, I feel like this is a common issue I can't even find the icon. ):

What I did after clicking the "..." from preferences is click the search bar, type in "The Sims 4", press enter, and click the "This Mac" as the options for search. Hope this helps! 😊

Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to put this as it's my first time posting on the S4S forums, but it is Creator Help so here we go. I've been using S4S for a long time now and its worked fine. But recently, I don't know why, nothing has been showing up. I mean nothing. I go to Create CAS Standalone and nothing from the actual Sims 4 is showing up. It's just blank. I tried running it as administrator and still nothing. I tried to see if like a path was wrong but I don't know really where the path actually goes, but I imagine it is supposed to be the Sims 4 folder. If anyone has had this issue and knows a working fix that won't have me messing with all my computer properties, I would be very grateful. Thanks Hello... I also got the same problem recently... Few days ago my S4Studio run just fine, but suddenly no object shows up... After deliberating on some comment i got from multiple source, i tried setting the exe file setting to always run as administrator... Then i change TheSims4 path on the studio app... Normally we put the path for theSims4 exe file, but then i changed it to the entire TheSims4 folder... for example before : C/Games/The Sims 4/Game/Bin after : C/Games/The Sims 4 PS: The game path differs for each user, the one mentioned above is my path then i tried opening my Sims4Studio, n boom.. it worked.. Go ahead try this method, and i wish u all good luck

I've had this same issue for a long time, but I think it's because I don't use origin, so how to find out my folder path. My main issue is whenever I try to change my folder path it keeps saying there's an error and to report it. I don't know what to do.

Sorry to keep the necro going for this thread but I wanted to tell you that mranarchy's solution worked for me, and I don't use origin either.
If you want to dm me for help in finding your folder path I'd be happy to do so, but you can find the file path by right clicking the shortcut icon on your desktop, and choosing the second option ("Open file location"). From there, you just type in the folder names and stop at Sims 4 (with the proper syntax of course, exampled in mranarchy's post- drive:/folder/folder ). Hope that can get you on the right track.

Go ahead try this method, and i wish u all good luck mranarchy is a life saver! I followed his steps, but then is still didn't work and then I figured out that after you follow his steps you have to unclick "Run As Administrator" button (Only if you ever turned that setting on.) To do that you need to right-click "S4Studio.exe - Shortcut" (if you don't have a shortcut to S4Studio, just right-click the S4Studio app and then click "Create shortcut") then click "Properties", after that you should find a button that says "Advanced..." in the shortcut tab, click it, lastly uncheck the "Run As Administrator" box, press "OK", "Apply", then "OK" once again, now open Sims4Studio and your base game objects that didn't load up before should start loading up now! Even though I am trash at explaining things I still hope that it helped anyone who still had this problem! (And sorry for bringing back a dead thread!!!) -Windows User

Hi,
I tried to reopen a clip package of mine to update an animation but in the "Studio" Tab all the sub-tabs are gone. I can't access the individual clips anymore. It shows the first entry animation file but not the thumbnails of all clips like it did when I created the package. Warehouse shows all the content...
Using Apple Blossom 1.3.2.3
Opening CC CAS packages do show all contents, so everything seems alright so far.
I don't want to redo the entire package - anyone having experienced this?
Please help!

I just solved mine (same problem as most of the others - nothing would show up in the catalogue, despite the paths being correct and trying everything).
Now, I know it might be risky, but what I did is this: go into the Documents/Sims 4 Studio folder -> open the Settings.xml file -> look for <HidePackIconForStandalones>true</HidePackIconForStandalones> somewhere at the bottom of the page -> change the "true" to "false" -> restart Sims 4 Studio again.
It loaded everything and now I can finally do my thing! :D
