What is a HidepackStandalone? Do you mean a debug item?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, whitelisting, checking checking game path... none of that's working, but I don't know what to actually do Hi. Try deleting this file (or just drag it somewhere else, on your desktop)

I would try to repair the game. It looks like S4S can't read the game file ClientFullBuild0.

Hi. Try deleting this file (or just drag it somewhere else, on your desktop) What do you mean? Delete which file? Repair the game first, if won’t work, delete ClientFullBuild0. You can see the path to it in the error message

Repairing gets stuck on finalizing, deleting that file doesn't work

Repairing gets stuck on finalizing, deleting that file doesn't work The only thing left is to re-install the game, there’s clearly something wrong with it

Ok apparently there were messed up files in other folders as well
So I got past the error message, but now when I press CAS it just says not responding

Yes it does that was the first thing I checked
It works now, but it takes hours to respond and then load, and it still lags a lot
Haven't gotten to that part yet but before, it wasn't loading meshes I was importing at all, even if it was an ea mesh that I was importing
And on most sims the entire avatar would just disappear, but the space the sim was still cancelled out the grid lines
The teeth were still there (if you zoomed in enough you could clip through the lips to see them) and the tongue and the underwear were visible, as well as whatever item you loaded up

Studio should not take hours to load anything. That's really unusual. How much RAM does your system have? How about hard drive space (that may not matter, actually). Is your computer basically a potato? Are your drivers up to date? If you're still having trouble with the ClientFullBuild0 file it could be that the file is corrupted and unreadable. Repairing your game or a full re-install may help. It could be a permissions issue if Studio can't read the game's files. The build files contain all of the data--meshes, textures, etc.--for everything in the game so Studio needs to access those files. It seems to me that it's something going on with your computer itself. I recently had trouble with lag and it was because one of my sticks of RAM was going bad. Had to replace it. And about four years ago I was getting the blue screen of death and it was because my hard drive was failing. Check out this site. Here's another site that may help. And Studio requires NET Framework to run. Maybe reinstall Net Framework.

I fixed it!! If you're on mac, right or double click on the Sims while it IS NOT open, and press show in finder. It will be in a different applications folder than people are saying. You run that path to S4S and then reopen S4S.
Sorry if you're on windows, I don't know how to do it on windows. I looked up a video and I just looked up, "how do you configure your game path in S4S mac". Maybe replace Mac with Windows?
