Hi mysticstorm713, would you mind fully explaining the steps you made to solve the issue? as i don't own a MAC myself and can't possibly explain further than what others tell me. I've seen many people having this pathing issue, and they can't seem to understand how to place the game into applications.

Hi Inabadromance, It was very similar to Zelrish's steps but slightly different since I don't use Chrome. I went into finder typed in Electronic in the search bar (top right) like you suggested. As you mentioned there was a file with the sims logo that I could not see in applications. I right clicked on the sims 4 file & chose get info to see where the file was actually located (MAC HD -> Users -> Sims 4 Applications). Back in S4S game path box, when it opened finder, in the center drop down I chose MAC HD then I selected Users -> Sims 4 -> Applications hit open. Closed S4S & reopened. It pulled the content in. Wish I could've added some screenshots but I hope this helps.

Hi lilyieun,
I've tried searching for the file you mentioned and I cannot find one. Have you seen Zelrish's steps? My steps were very similar. You should see the Sims 4 logo followed by The Sims 4 when you search

I'm not sure if you ever solved this problem, but I had the same problem and I spent hours researching for a solution but in the end I managed to fix it by simply dragging my sims 4 game into my applications folder, ha
Anyways, good luck!

I FOUND A SOLUTION Ihave been struggling with this forever and an idea struck me: I opened a new Finder window and searched for "The Sims 4", when I found it, I right-clicked and chose "Get Info"; the info window came up, and it turned out the game wasn't in the list of Applications that you get to by just clicking "Applications" in the left sidebar, but was in Jami Suzann>Applications>The Sims 4. It is so simple, yet the interface makes it difficult.
I hope this helps you guys!

Please read the following posted by another user: For Mac Users:For an hour and a half, I went through this thread trying every one of the different suggestions until I decided to mess a little bit more with this before I finally gave up. I went to Finder>Documents and searched at the top right corner "Electronic Arts". The first things that came up were many blue folders of The Sims 4 that I had been clicking. After scrolling through most of them, I found an actual Sims 4 application (that wasn't in my Applications folder) with the Isms 4 logo on it. I click once and open it in S4S, and it worked!!! I hope this helps others, I'm just so happy I get to create some CC again! Happy New Year! :D

Found the solution. When they ask you to configure game path you have to go to -documents -electronic arts -the sims 4 -saves -the sims 4 (with ts4 logo) It will then work , just did it and everything is fine.

Go to finder and enter into the search bar "Sims". If you scroll down you will see and application named The Sims 4. Take that application and directly move it to your applications folder. Sims 4 studio should do the rest.
