Hi, can I help you, I do not understand why? This looks to me like you are importing a mesh with two different parts or "GEOM 000#". I'm not sure how to make a mesh with multiple GEOM's, and I've always found it easiest/to work well when my new clothing mesh is just one GEOM, so try merging the skirt with the underwear and then importing to S4S.

Alrighty, so this is my first attempt at creating a mesh. Its been about 11 hours, Ive restarted this tutorial over a dozen times and the attached image is what I ended up with. I followed your tutorial exactly but there was definitely a few steps I was stuck on, but thought I got them fine after a few trials. Clearly I was very wrong. Is there any tips you have for a first time mesh creator or what I can possibly do to fix this?

Could someone possibly give me some help? after I do all the beginning steps and after importing the obj file, for some reason it appears inside the "floor" under the avatar. I used the Sims 4 avatar when creating it in MD, so I would think that would make it fit the same ? I can bring it up and move it around, but it's almost impossible to get the perfect fit, and takes hours;; So it would be helpful to find out how to make it appear actually on the avatar in blender~

prntscr.com/fzex1u (for some reason i cant insert the image) i don't know where i made my mistake.. I don't know if I'll even go back and try to do this step by step again (it took me a total of 5 hours including MD to make this.. very tiring) If anybody has a quicker way, or just a way i can add the nude top underneath.. UPDATE: ok i was impatient so i just re-did the whole thing and it worked out just fine! Looks like i missed a step or something but now its fine UPDATE 2: okay im done lmao prntscr.com/fzfvys what the firetruck

in blender, you need to highlight the vertacies that are close together and do alt+m. then do at center. you can see inside it bbc marvelous designer doesn't actually join the fabric together. it just puts it close to each other. so if you join them together, there will be no visible line. saych0niggonya that's a weight issue lol. you need to redo the weight transfer. giozlove can you add a package file and blender file? oaekuoii did you save the obj size as "m" honeybeez can you provide a package file and blender file? mhernes, that is probably a weight transfer problem. you need to redo it.

thanks for responding, ive tried what u said, but it doesnt look right when i do alt+m and at center, and if it does, it will take FOREVER UPDATE: i've tried a new mesh from beginning in MD, this time ive chosen the "weld" option instead of "unweld", i dont know what problem it will cause to choose this one, but it worked for my problem. can someone explain why we should choose weld as in this tutorial? and if we do, how can we fix the seam issue after that?

saych0 if you go into modifiers and use the decimate tool it will reduce the amount of vertacies you need to combine greatly. click the button that makes it so you can see through meshes and it'll be easier. i can't provide pictures rn bc in on mobile hehe but if you google it i'm sure you'll find it. selecting each 2 to 3 vertacies and joining them shouldn't make the mesh look weird. but it does get rid of the problem of being able to see through it. unless the weld thing worked like you say, you can totally ignore everything i just typed up lol
