Hello every one! I am not very skilled at this stuff so I do not know what the problem is but let me try to explain.  Lets skip the whole thing why I am doing that, but... Here is what I have in S4S. Everything looks fine from here. In-game result:  I do not know where cyan color comes from and why neck color is so different. Initially I selected Knight Armor for a package and just replaced the mesh and textures. Importing mesh over something else works pretty well and I have not that teal color everywhere. The problem is probably in... CAS Part I think but I do not know where it is exactly. Could someone help me with that? |

Maybe it will help someone. Here goes that bugged thing. I removed the rest of the armor to make it smaller, the original one is quite big. It is female full body costume. bugged.package |

When i open it there's no mesh and no textures. so i can't properly see what's wrong That issue usually comes due to deleting textures from the warehouse (you should never delete anything), or the wrong textures for bump map and specular. Check those two tutorials to make your own textures and try re importing them to your package. |

Bump and Spec maps are empty right now. And being them empty works pretty well on other models. I will probably add them later if I feel like model needs them. Back to the model: it is supposed to be only neck, right.  Like that. Now if you load it in-game, you get that cyan color over it. |

You mean the model by default? no, it should be the whole body. I suggest re cloning the package and starting from 0. Clone an outfit, export it, check cut numbers and make sure your mesh matches all the groups with its cut numbers. |

Cut numbers are correct. And mesh in game is also correct and works fine. Something wrong with the MATERIAL on it but I am not able to find out where that thing is.
Placing that mesh over other file works fine => it should be somewhere in the CAS Part. Since it is a Knight Armor initially in package, I also get that 'metal' skin on the neck. So, it is in the CAS part somewhere.
Looks like it will be easier just to move it over something else by cloning other package (instead of Knight Armor). I just wanted to know what is the problem.

I don't undestand what you mean. The picture where you show ONLY the neck and arms. What is that?
Also, The CAS part is not likely to be the problem at all, What made you think of it, is there something in particular you tweek there?
Post your files. (.package) so we can help you. It is hard to know from a picture what is wrong. It looks like a specular issue to me. Maybe you're not following the tutorials right? Either way, we can't tell if we don't see the files.

I do not know what is going to be changed after you get the rest of the armor (instead of neck part only) but here your go. armor1.packageSo basically I need the neck part to be the same color as the rest of the skin. And that teal/cyan color to be removed from everywhere. S4S displays it fine, however I have different result IG. Do not mind missing right thumb  Please note, if you upload it over other mesh (not over Knight Armor) the shiny stuff will be gone from there along with cyan color. |

Your mesh is not mapped properly. All CAS items are mapped somewhere on a shared composite map. This means that each type of CAS item needs to be mapped in a specific place and all parts of the mesh need to be mapped on the map rather than outside the map. Here is where the neck is mapped for your mesh:  See this POST for a Sim body texture template. See this POST for a template showing the layout of the CAS composite UV map. I recommend taking a look at an EA fullbody garment and using that as your guide in creating your own. Currently you have the neck painted on. In the game there will be a skintone mismatch between neck and face even if the Sim is white. |

  I did proper mapping as you can see on images 1 and 2. Neck still has buggy color and all the armor has cyan color on it. Mapping is fine here I guess, really NOTHING changed at all after I remapped it. I remapped neck and other parts, but neck mapping is now 100% right. Again, if I select something else as initial package (instead of Knight Armor, e.g. Swimsuit) and import my mesh, there will be no cyan color and that neck texture problem. |

And, If I may ask, why do you MUST use the Knight Armor as a base?
Also, you still have the skin painted on. So someone else using another skin that is not white will not able to use it...

I just wanted to know what is the problem exactly. But it looks like I should just bypass it instead I am using Knight Armor now because I did transfer weights from the original one. If I import mesh over something else - I get it messed up a bit in game (not something really hard to fix). |

I'm sorry if you've mentioned this, but i haven't seen it while quick reading all the thread from the start. have you or have you not tried changing the specular? You can try the blank files i have here. Also, in your file i noticed the model missing a finger. You should check the original mesh and compare it to yours to see what group is missing. Leaving the Knight armor as a base will mean that only that have that EP will be able to use your item. |

Thanks for blanks, I tried using exactly the same ones (having .png format), it does not help.
Right thumb is back however.
I am very sure that it is somewhere in CAS Part, because if I upload it over something else and even if I replace all textures, I wont have such problem.
The neck color will be still different, but at least there will be no that cyan color.

I just used inabadromance 's blank images and i'm not seeing any CYAN lighting at all... I guess the problem IS your images. I'm not seeing that problem, however, your skin painted is another story... Also, there's a finger missing as well as overlapping feet. ALSO, your outfit doesn't work with SLIDERS.  |
