Hi Merry927, when I open that .blend I see a small duck toy with a shadow plane under it. They have the expected mesh group names. I am able to scale and save the duck and shadow. What is the problem you are having with this .blend? Getting it into Blender per step 7 of this tutorial. When I attempt to append the blend that I exported from Studio by double clicking on it, it does not show up, but I get a list of folders. One is called "mesh" but neither of the 2 meshes in it ("s4studio_mesh_0" and s4studio_mesh_1") show up in Blender when I click on them. When using object files I created by exporting the .blend as an object file and then resizing that, I got an error message - "pack file/source path not found" when I tried to save the edited mesh. Everything else seemed to work fine until that.

Hi Merry927, you need to look in the folder that is named object not the folder named mesh when appending.

emberwolff Hi! Welcome to Studio's forums. You can choose pretty much any 2D editor you like. Most tutorials here are written to work with Paint.NET, which is free. So you could try using that. Other popular choices are Photoshop and GIMP. Studio is able to import and export .png images so you don't have to find one that exports in .DDS format.

V.2.78 Blender is not showing the mesh from sims 4 studio v.3.0.1.7
I do not know if the error is in any of the applications, or if it is in the blender settings.
Can anyone help me with this? I researched a lot and found nothing.
If the translator's translation went bad, please excuse me!

Hi leojs97, there have been many reports from people trying to use Blender 2.78 that it is not functioning correctly. This seems to be a problem for people who are on Win10 especially, but others have had it also. For this reason, Studio has stopped supporting the use of Blender 2.78 in favor of Blender 2.76. We have had no reports of problems with Blender 2.76, and that version has all the features relevant to Sims 4 meshing that Blender 2.78 has. I recommend giving Blender 2.76 a try.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I just tested the versions from 2.78 to 2.70, and in all only came five lamps and the camera. Another thing, is the fact that the computer is weak can cause this problem?

Have you ever been able to export a mesh from Studio and have it show up in Blender? Which version number of the game do you have? If you post your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Logs text files that may help get to the bottom of the issue but I cannot be sure. No one has ever reported not being able to export a mesh from Studio to Blender 2.70 or 2.76 before.

Which step is it you're stuck on? If your item doesn't have a shadow, that's fine. You can use EA's shadow plane and just resize it to fit your new mesh
