Please feel welcome to post thoughts on custom content management features that you would like to see. This probably isnt necessary to ask but just incase, a c/c batch-fix for mermaids? thank you.

Hi Guys... So im working on a build i started a long time ago, it started as a tiny one room underground bunker with the very most basic of survival needs provided. except a toilet, you gotta pee in a bush. lol. but anyways... I decided to play around with this build again and see if i can make it more cave like using terrain tools. then i got this idea to attach the bunker to a secret underground facility, so thats what im working on now. got the idea that a hidden underground facility should atleast have someone guarding the door. so heres where i need help. hopefully my photo attachment works, cause i see no preview. what i need is to replace a vip door like hopefully shown in photo with the green door shown to the left of it (called "chroma door"). I'd like just the chroma door with no rope, just a bouncer, and if possible id like only settings like regular doors have. so the bouncer would'nt worry about fame level, he will just lock the door for or allow acess to or whatever.
Im not looking for a vip door replacement, just a standalone.
I dont know how much work modding something like this can be, im guessing not to hard, just a matter of swapping things between doors, but if im wrong and this would be a major pain in the ass to do in the way i requested, then i wont worry about it too much, i'd be fine with just the chroma door with a bouncer that checks fame level. it would be better than nothing.
Thanks in advance.
and please let that photo show up in this post lol

My apologies for my highly pissed off and frustrated comment yesterday. out of all the accessories i fixed for the past 2 days, 2 were color tagged. it is severely frustrating. I just wish people would use it, it's not that hard. aside from random sim outfits, when searching CAS for a specific green top that doesnt show up til you search pink, it just makes no sense really.
I understand it's alot of work, but it's not a 5 hour long project to click a few swatches and change colors boxes on one piece of content. really sucks to hear i'm the only person in the world who wants to see better looking sims in my game that arent by my design.
To all cc creators i do thank you for the work you do, i appreciate all the extra content, just wish you would spend just a little bit more time to do it right. again i apologize.
Big shout to the following creators who use color-tag on their swatches, your extra effort is appreciated. Thank You!

oh... one more thing.... due to the sims 4 color pallet being very generic / basic some colors are hard to even classify. is it blue? is it green? it's so close to the middle i cant decide. in such case you could say well its a blue, green mix so tag it colors blue & green. like picture above, the nails are kind of red, yet also close to a pink. which is why i tagged it both. Thanks again.

I just wanted to take time out of my so far 2 day long task to say thank you to all creators who are too lazy to properly mark the colors of your c/c content. I've spent a long 2 days so far properly marking your c/c and so far in 2 days i've only done accessories, and still havent finished that type. I still have clothes, hair, makeup and whatever else to go. dont mean to sound unappreciative, but when you create a piece of content, it can take you 5 extra minutes to tag each swatch with the appropriate colors, others it might take 10 seconds depending on how many swatches you used. but because you didnt, and so far from what i color tagged i'd say 96% of it isnt, i now have a life long process of properly colortagging what you didnt. will i ever get to play the sims 4 again? i'm really starting to wonder, cause at the rate i'm going, i'm starting to feel like a non stop month wont even complete the task. it's pretty sad. please go thru your c/c when your creating, tag a color(s) for each swatch, it's not that hard when your only tagging 1 product. compared to us users who who have 1000s of pieces of content to go thru. sims 4 is programmed to match color items with each other when it creates sims, by you not tagging your content most of our generated sims end up looking like poo, so thank you for thinking we were too stupid to notice that you took a shortcut. To the 2, 4 , maybe 5% of you who do color tag all your swatches, thank you so much for doing the job that most creators just wont do, your extra effort is greatly appreciated. if only you werent so hard to find. I'm not trying to be an esteemed friend, but those who have done this before, i'm sure have felt the same way. here is an example of what i'm talking about, and to the creator of this item, i'm not trying to single you out, this just happens to be the item on currently on. this swatch correctly tagged should actually look like this. In the future please do your fans a favor and correctly color tag your items. Thank You!

wasnt sure where to ask this, i'm not a creator, so i guess i'll ask here. I downloaded a bikini from... annettssims4welt.blogspot.de/2016/12/accessory-bikini-glitter.htmlwhich is giving me this result.... I read in another post that it means there is no specular and bump maps. that blank ones would need to be included. would it be possible for someone to fix this. download link posted above. I couldnt figure out how to message the creator so i posted a comment on one of her google+ posts to email me, but i dont know if she will see it or respond so i'm just looking for an alternative option. Thanks in advance.

First, thanks a lot for this tutorial. I use Gimp and this tutorial helped me to create my very first bump map, but I would like to add some little things. I'm using Gimp 2.8 and I didn't have the normalmap menu. For those like me, know that it's a plug-in you can download from the Gimp plug-in registry : bump map plug-in. It's only some files you have to copy, not a big deal. It works perfectly well and if you follow the tutorial given on this forum, you will have a perfect bump map for your object. Also, I would like to add something else. Now that with the latest version of Sim4Studio you can export the different files of a recolor (specular, diffuse, normal, etc) very easily, do it before replacing them. I had the surprised to discover while creating a new swimsuit, that the bump map had not the same size of the diffuse texture. While the diffuse texture is 1024x2048, the bump map is 1024x1024. This causes a very strange preview in game 'til I figured out what was the problem. So my advice when you do recolors, extract and check the texture files before doing your own. Anyway, thanks again for the tutorial. It was a great help for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have gimp 2.8 and i tried to download the bump map plugin and it wont load for me. there was a comment from someone using windows 8 saying that directory structure needed for installation didnt exist for him which is the same in my case, i'm on windows 10. the followup comment in response to him was put in in C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin that it would work there but it doesnt work there for me. you happen to know where those files go? thanks in advance.
