Deaderpool's already said Dresser won't be working for a while yet. BIG changes there from EA. But he's working on getting MC up for us ASAP, I'm watching the thread, but I have to get some sleep soon for work tonight, too. Long story short, my /Mods folder is sitting on my desktop. I won't play without MC, so till it's working, I'm not worrying about any of the other stuff, either. I had no trouble finding non-gaming ways to entertain myself this morning.

List from Officials started by Luthienrising... forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/863545/broken-updated-mods-dec-15/MC and woohoo both updated to 2.2.1 for the patch. MC Dresser is *not* working, EA bug Deaderpool notified gurus about. On the list. MadameButterfly's drinks mods and Weerbesu's UI Cheats (and 3 or 4 CAS columns mods I *think*) updated.

I can not download the "sugar" my system says it is not safe, how to do? If you tried with Chrome, try a different browser. Windows 10's Edge downloaded it just fine here, but I also couldn't do it with Chrome.

Thanks! Honestly, I just create for hobby, not for appreciation or something like that. My studio is just a funny experiment, but it feels good to see that someone actually appreciates my stuff... ^^ I hope you have fun making hair for the next forever, then, I'd probably put any recolor you do into my game. They're snazzy, just need MOAR styles! hahaha!!

Today's (first) find... So much NOPE! here. What is WITH those SHORTS? Half-tempted to MC-blacklist most of them. And the pink cap, mismatched colors... ugh.

Right now I'm in chill mode, waiting for g2g before I play much game. Today I decorated the girls' house some for Christmas. Not finished, but I ran out of time. Silly work thang means I have to sleep more. Cuts into my play binges for real. I'm off next week for content add, so, woot! Call me a cynic, but I expect problems. I only have 2 script mods, though, so I'm hoping it won't be TOO big a hit. Working on this for the Studio Challenge, so I'm not sharing pics while I'm fixing it up. I'll post something after I've done my entry, though. I'm glad the deadline isn't till 12/14, that's something else I may not FINISH till I'm through with this week. Retail during holidays is kinda brutal. Ghost00 I grabbed your male hair too, haven't tried it in game yet (been working on girls/house), but I totally will be using it when I get the chance!

Welcome all newcomers! I hope you'll enjoy this forum as much as the rest of us!
ansett747 - Geez, I looked at your 'Savage Garden - To the Moon & back' music video and 'Ed Sheeran - Photograph' and WOW, I dont watch machinima but damn it those videos impressed me, big time! You're really good, I mean like REALLY REALLY GOOD.... I cant get my darn sims to move where ever I want them too, and how you manange to do all of that.... just wow! J Mzungu thank you so much! I love making custom content of all ethnic backgrounds though I felt that Africans and people of African descent were still a little under-represented, so it's really been my pleasure to explore my African roots and churn out some nice stuff. Of course one tends to starts off with creating things for themselves and their gameplay, but it's double the joy if someone else also enjoys it. As long as there is a good vibe going on, everyone wins, that's what cool about the modding community. Anyway, I did learn to make tie-dyes, so if I open a real life shop are you investing, haha ? Also, I really love your stuff too! I'll put some in my reblog list, especially the wall art. Your gameplay pics are such fun to look at and put a smile on my face. You are right indeed - Africa is under-represented and I'm so happy that you represent it, because you do it so well! Lol - I'd love to invest if I wasent broke, but hey, say in 10 years I hope to have cash, and then I can invest Thanks, your making me blush. It's kinda funny, the first thing I uploaded did really good, and then each new upload I've uploaded has declined in numbers, and I thought it would be the other way around, lol. I'm hoping to turn those numbers around though... It's really exciting to know 862 people have my first CC in their game... but then it's kinda sad to see only 32 has my graffiti in their game, but hey I dont blame them. Everyone wants diffrent stuff in their game and I guess there was no demand for it, but that's ok! Thanks for liking my gameplay pics J Mzungu I could lose myself in your blog for DAYS, and I may, next week while I'm off. Bursting with WCIF ??? already and barely touched part of it/them (blog, story, finds... etc). I am definitely a fan.

It looks like a DISASTER waiting to take place......hahaha! It's like reading a Captains' Logbook before the Ship hits an Iceberg...(Just Kidding.). That's pretty Cool, you writing stuff down to keep Track of the Madness - i completely' gave up on Hair Mods, everything i have tried has Bonked my Game; some right away, some were Creepers...after a few days. I quit posting my Rants...i just don't - "Like" - Hair mods anymore...ha! I encourage everyone who disagrees to DL as many Hair Mods that you can Google for...hehehe. ( MEAN? No, just saying...ha!). - Rock On! Oh I could tell you stories for sure of cc-mods that tried to eat my game... including, of all things, last year's Calendar from one of the main guys at MTS. If I'd known then about S4S... maybe I could've just fixed the problem. Next time something like that comes up, I'll dig deeper than just OMG it's not working, get OUT! haha! I try not to get overly attached, if something looks better as a download than it does "live," out it goes. I've tossed my entire mods folder before, too, and started fresh. Not LATELY, but I *have* done that. Here's a picture... my new twins (Webb family) in some last year's Christmas finery, and various cc items. I need to chase some seasonal links, still. (Guy in the background popped in as new-hood-starter.) I'm not a big real hair cc fan either, the files are big enough that I'm pretty picky. But there ARE exceptions... I love Kiara24's side ponytail (pictured), and I am a big fan of this hair from Ghost00 : sims4studio.com/thread/3440/ghostly-nerd-studio?page=1&scrollTo=33555It's gorgeous! I only played a little while this morning. Still firmly in setup, but I get bored with playing paper dolls, so I'll go back to live and let a little time run, occasionally. Seriously questioning (again) fashion sense, sims-style. Waiting to see a truly epic disaster to share in THAT thread. I have a few candidates. LOL! First Sunday is all about seeing who's who, and dressing them the part. With MC, there are also flags and other settings to consider. Lots of layers. It takes a while, but if I don't do it, it'll make me crazy later. Story so far, from a meta standpoint, I decided to take the girls in the house, put Athena (brown hair, geek/genius) on the computer and Celeste (red hair, creative/art lover) in front of an easel. 95% of the time I'll take sims outside and greet walkers, but that gives me a window full of people I have to Get to Know. Bleah. So we're hiding in the house working on points till I can get both of them the Observant trait, and THEN, we'll see who's around to meet. 500 won't take long. Dunno about welcome wagon, if they get one it's only gonna be 4 people, I think. No big deal. But I won't know till tomorrow, probably. Bedtime for the 3d shift approaches. Thanks for the reply!

Nothing bad happened to my game or anything, I just decided it was running too slow to suit me. 20MB save file (4 sim-weeks played) should not take longer than a bathroom break to load, even on a laptop. Probably inventory issues. Meh. I still have it. I still have pretty much everything I've ever had or done with Sims4... somewhere on this hard drive. I'm not too organized, but I could give any Packrat a run for their money over that title. Onward & upward, here... Next! I just kinda wanted to write about setting up and so on, I've got a little time before work, but not enough to do anything terribly involved. For a LONG time, I never used *any* cc... but mods were a different story. Had some of those since day one. I picked up MC Command Center in March (after the Great Tuning File Crash of 3/26 settled), and it's been helping me play this game ever since. (I have more mods than just that.) I wanted a fresh run at what MC does, and what the game does, etc. AND to show off some of the new cc I've found here (and at MTS). (Pictures another time, possibly in the photos thread... depends on what comes up worth posting.) I am WAY over that "no cc" hump. (Side note, in another thread I saw someone post "I hate this goddamned game!" and I had to laugh, because my poor husband hears that pretty often from yours truly, too! Haha!!) I always forget just how MUCH setup there is with a re-roll. I re-rolled my av (mostly) but she has gray eyes now. And her (new) twin sister has red hair and violet eyes. I get bored with just one sim. Plopped Perfect Balance down on that empty "retail" lot. Newcrest is still empty. I caught on to a new trick to relate Johnny Zest back to the Landgraabs, so he's moved back in with with them, for the moment. I have moved ONE hour of game time, reintroducing Landgraabs to their prodigal, and my bin grew by about 15. So I went to look. Of note, a household of 4 randoms made up of 3 YAs and an elder, that's a first here. Another 4-person random YA group with same last name, but I'll just give 3 of them (in each household) new last names at some point. Or delete any total trainwrecks. 2 YA men in one household and a 3d from the other household all came in with the same exact hairstyle/color (black, of course). That's not gonna work for me, guys, sorry. Fix in progress. (Eyes glazed over, I had to quit for this morning.) One elder couple. The *most* interesting thing in there is the married lesbian couple with a teenage daughter, who is missing a trait. I don't have any of MC's same-sex settings enabled, although I could change that, now. I'm just really intrigued. I have *never* seen a same-sex couple randomly appear in my bin. I do see the missing-trait thing pretty often. Once, I saw that fix itself. So I'm waiting to see if she tells me what she wants to do with that box. No rush. I like to put wedding rings on my marrieds, and body hair on my males. That usually leads to a wardrobe run as I page thru the rings... OMG some of the outfits are just epically BAD. I'd already done the core 30ish (mapped sims plus 3), game gave me punk rock dude to roll the hood with, so I kept him, I like him. Then I rolled my twins and moved them into WC (along with the guy, they're neighbors). I used MC's Age Up thing to make Geoffrey and Nancy elders, then Adults again, to clear out the green from their age bars. Playing on Long (I don't usually play on long, I prefer aging off, but, it's an experiment. Settings/flags FTW!) Tried it with Malcolm, but it doesn't work as well for active teens (or kids)... Something to do with the different number of traits, I'd guess. Throws a wrench. It's actually *meant* to be used on inactives, anyway. I paged through all their aspirations (which makes a save file get bigger, BTW), and bought Malcolm a Fountain of Youth potion to set his bar back to empty. Johnny's already was. They're the only family I"ve done it for yet, besides my 3 created sims. WIP. I said earlier in a PM that my Indian name would probably be Talks Much, Says Little. I just am not really up for posting my usual story/meta mashups to something like Tumblr, but, I wanted to tell *somebody* about this new game. Part story, part tech/meta, that's how I usually roll. It wouldn't be good Tumblr fodder. More incoming later on, if anybody's interested in reading about Sims 4, MC & other mods, and Me. Work prep time is looming, probably a good thing. For you guys. LOL! (I can stop writing anytime I want to...)

believe&become thanks for the offer of an ear to bend. I'll try not to make you sorry you offered. LOL!! Rolling up a new game (I do that, yeah...), so taking a SMALL break from working with cc. What's in my "Dropped Packages" folder is just practice stuff, I haven't come up with any trailblazing I MUST HAVE THIS thing to work on yet. I will most likely be in touch when I get back to it... kind of hoping everything I have learned takes advantage of this break to settle into a sensible framework I can build from. There's still a lot I don't know. <shrug> WIP. mythicrider and any other new people I may have missed... Welcome!

I wish I spoke that. I speak enough "retail Spanish" to get by at work, but that's about it. Greetings, "is that all?" "bag?" etc. Very basic stuff. Love to know more, there are a LOT of Hispanics here. Related subject, I'm guessing these are mostly document-centered translations being discussed? I wanted to mention that if anybody is doing any STBL-based translating (mods etc), Deaderpool (of MC Command Center fame) put a program up (STBL Editor) at MTS to help with that. www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=564576Just one for the toolbox, sharing in case it's something anybody might find useful. (Comments thread is over my head for real.)

believe&become Just wanted to say WOW! Looked at your African cc blog. I'm about as white as people come (not much "ethnic" wardrobe experience), but you've got some AMAZING stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sci-fi blog when you get it rolling. Are you going to have a Creator Studio here? Thanks for sharing! (edit: fix tag) Thank you so much for the warm welcome! For the record, I'm mostly white but I was born and raised in West Africa and like to keep that part of my soul on fire. Silly me, I was posting in the Custom Content Links section and thinking it was the Creator Studio, not realizing there was actually a different section. So to answer your questions, yes, definitely, I will be putting up a creator studio once I find my way around here lol! Btw your avatar's tshirt (which is lovely btw) looks like one of the tshirts I made recently for kids ... did we have the same idea? I'm posting a link just to show you, not sure if it's the right place to do that. I just have a sincere love of tie dye. My shirt info: Tshirt (from a set of 3) by FrankVjecy here: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=548111I haven't got a studio up, I'm JUST learning this cc thing, and so far, if there's been a roadblock to hit, I've found (or engineered) it. I have had a grand total of ONE shirt recolor work properly from the word go (and it was seriously nothing special). I have attempted a somewhat higher number than that. haha!! But I am *not* giving up. Trouble I'm having is totally a "me" thing, you're bilingual, S4S is a little like trying to learn a 2nd language and skill set, since I AM so new to the creation side, and that doesn't happen in a day. Or, in my case, a week. But, it will happen. Lightbulb moments FTW! (I'm still waiting...) (I don't want to scare anybody off, S4S is AWESOME, I'm just having a few "getting to know you" issues.) Pretty sure it's fine to post pictures here. I just took it out for LENGTH, since it's already showing in your post. I didn't want you to think I took it out because you shouldn't have posted it, I mean. (I overexplain sometimes...) Good news on the Studio, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you add to it. Thanks for the reply!

fuyaya I just noticed your introduction above me and I'm so happy to recognize your name - I blogged about your cc about 2 months ago and wanted to tag you directly but you hadn't a tumblr account yet, I believe. The post I wrote about you (the wax collection you did) is here. Guess it's a small world - it's lovely to be able to write you directly, thank you for your wonderful work and meet "on the same starter's day". believe&become Just wanted to say WOW! can you make a tutorial for GIMP users? I'm too poor for photoshop :P I have a suggestion, give Paint.Net a try. I'm new to S4S but not the 'net, tried Gimp (I had before...), it's *hard* to work with at a beginner level. I switched from that to Paint.Net and I *love* it. I doubt I'll ever use Gimp again.
