So this hair is kinda hat compatible but not really, it has this weird texture when you put a hat on, but it doesn’t go through the hat so that’s good. REQUIRES GET TO WORKIt comes in all EA original hair colors, including the colorful ones. It also has a custom thumb Thank you for downloading!! #hair #toddler #mesh

you put several hair meshes right? The one you're changing it to on sims 4 studio, for example, if you have bangs and a long hair and you decide to mesh the two together, if you have the long hair as the "base" on your sims 4 studio that's the one you're going to copy the cut number from.

Is the cut number the same as the original EA mesh? The way cut numbers work in s4s is to indicate which mesh part to change. The original file and the new mesh need to have the same type and cut numbers as shown below:

Hi! Could you show how you did it through pictures? I'm converting the sims 3 dog bed to sims 4 and they also enter from the side sometimes, and it's bothering me. Thank you

Thank you! This problem has been solved, I forgot to change the Bump Map. Another problem happened though, now the texture looks weird but in a different way, everything is kinda mixed up ?? I couldn't find the sims 3's bump map for this object so i created one using cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/ . Do you think this could be the problem?

I converted this sims 3 dog bed into sims 4, and everything works fine BUT the texture in game. On s4s, everything seems fine : But in game it looks weird and glitched: Can someone help me? Thank you.

It's my first hair mesh! It's a combination of three EA hairs, and it's BGC. I had so much fun doing this It comes in all 18 EA swatches. You can recolor it, just don't include the mesh. #hairs #meshes

In my opinion the best way to understand how things work is to export the original EA's hair and compare it to yours. For a mesh to import properly all elements must match: being the amount of mesh groups with their respective cut numbers. For it to work in game, it needs to be weighted, vertex paint and uv_1 done. For your question, you have extra groups that you have to join together and fix their cut numbers (watch video tutorial below, around 12:40). Also, you need to create the other groups that represent the different cut chops. Take into consideration that hair creation isn't suggested of you're just started cc creation. So you'll need to learn the basics before hand. I suggest reading the following tutorials: -basic object creation import- sims4studio.com/thread/826/create-object-mesh-package-existing-weight transfer - sims4studio.com/thread/81/weight-transfer-blender-vertex paint- sims4studio.com/thread/2479/vertex-paint-sims-4-mesh- uv_1 (morphs) - There's also tutorials on YouTube that you can learn from: - Thanks a lot!! I'll definetly be checking out these later today

That part is solved! Thank you and yes, i am a begginer as all of us are at some point and i do have questions. Another problem is that only part of the mesh is imported into s4s.

Your uv placed all over entire map. Please read this tutorial part #4 describing where uv map should be placed. Grab the map here. I didnt actually know this, so thank you! But on the uv map it's just a square
