Hi there comb. There is no plan to get a discord for S4S as it would mainly defeat the purpose of the forum itself. Our goal is to enable anyone to get access to information regarding S4S news, CC creation, problems and solutions etc. A discord would not bring anything as the informations would simply be lost in lengthy chat rooms. And be aware that if no-one has the time to answer to a thread on the forum then it will certainly not be better on a discord.

uninstall S4S Open your antivirus and find the blocked programs or something like that. Find the entry for S4S, delete it then reinstall S4S. Or uninstall S4S download the zip version and try it out

Hi andovia212 Well, you can find our tutorial list hereYou will need to learn to use blender to mesh the parts yourself. I advise you following some mesh creation tutorials as there are many steps that need to be properly followed. To make prosthetic limbs, you will basically need to make clothes. The issue is that you cannot simply replace part of an existing mesh. That means that if you want to create a prosthetic for an arm, you will make it with a top or full body piece of clothing. So this prosthetic will only be "attached" to this piece of clothing. To vary the clothes you will need to clone another piece of clothes, attach your prosthetic arm (do all the relevant changes that need to be done to textures/bump map etc) and finalise your package. For legs it would be even worst as you would need to edit shoes and bottom/full body as the mesh would be split between shoes and bottom/fullbody. In result you would display the limb properly only when the sim wear the proper shoes+bottom. I don't mean it is impossible at all, but you would need to make a lot of them to be able to vary the outfits (which is maybe for you a minor problem in the first place, dunno ^^). Or you make only one and alway wear the same clothes with your prosthetics then :p

Well, I think your interpretation of the issue is a bit strong, but the end result is still the same anyway: the videos are currently unavailable and it is not just blender.
Youtube algorythm is known to do poo quite often so this is not so surprising.

Noir_Noir I dunno what you did but the first plug-in linked here works for me. You can open dds and save as dds within photoshop afterwards. The only things that will not work are the extra stuff like the nvidia filters (obviously they are not installed with this plug-in) And the main reason you need dds files is for : bump map, shadow and speculars. You might manage to create a spec and shadow with png (although it really lacks clarity) but you cannot make the bump map without it. PS: after checking my version I am using the previous not updated version from the plug-in (v0.5) and he made an update in february 2018 to v0.6. This last version doesn't seem to work in photoshop CC 2018 from the comment section. It might work with previous versions so here is the one I am using, maybe it will work

Well, first thing would be to identify what mods are missing and see if there is a new version of this mod.
If you use 4 columns in CAS I suggest you checking for an update on this one. As it turns buggy quite often with updates. Then anything that touches the interface such as UI cheat.
Normal CC should not disappear, but sometimes they display badly in CAS especially with 4 columns, and you either need to remove a tag to force the game to reorganize the thumbnails or add one.

As Monas said. You simply add .dds at the end of the file name when exporting from Studio.

The weights look fine as far as I can tell. But your uv_map should be named uv_0 Maybe the issue is created due to the total absence of uv_1 I kinda doubt it though as the only thing it should do then is not allowing you to use sliders with the object which is most certainly wanted. I would still create the uv_1 but leave it as a simple dot so that it doesn't affect anything, and do the vertex painting as well, for the sake of testing.
Although you can msee if the deformation is consistant in game or if it only happens with some hand movements or so.
PS : I do not recommend mapping the uv where you did, this area is reserved and used by lots of clothes. I would use the hat texture slot probably to still have a nice amount of space. But it's your choice ^^

The main problem is that we have to use low resolution images for the texture of the WHOLE sim. if it was a 1024x2048 per object there would be no problem. But in the end for a top you have to work with 1024x582 which is damn small. That means we run into "pixelisation" really fast and that is the issue you are facing.
Some people double the size of their texture because of this. It works to a certain extent but I would not really recommend that. For the words Heron Preston on the front, you might be able to have them display better by adjusting the uv_0 a little bit tighten the vertices a bit in that area should do the trick.

Hi evekatI am not sure what is so frustrating for you. The weight transfer will always be applied on the totality of the selected object. That's the point. If your object happens to be a full body sim/creation than it will be applied to the full body. What you need to do is create a full body reference to do that transfer. You will need the body (legs and torso), the head and the feet. You join them all together sa that you end up with one object containing all those parts. And then you use it as reference for your weight transfer. Like your mesh proportions are fine you should get a nice result.

There are some infos here It's for animations, but it works the same way. But in the end, there is no easy way for this even if this last technique in that thread could work (didn't test it myself in the end)
