Here is what my Tuning ID XML looks like now: <V t="enabled" n="inventory_item"> <U n="enabled"> <E n="stack_scheme">DEFINITION</E> <L n="valid_inventory_types"> <E>SIM</E> <E>BOOKSHELF</E> <E>RETAIL_SHELF</E> <E>CRAFT_SALES_TABLE_EP03</E> </L> </U> </V> <V t="enabled" n="inventory_item"> <U n="enabled"> <T n="skip_carry_pose">True</T> <L n="valid_inventory_types"> <E>SIM</E> <E>CRAFT_SALES_TABLE_EP03</E> </L> </U> </V> Is that right? I really don't know much about this XML stuff. Thanks in advance Have Fun

I think you need to compare the tuning of your item with the tuning of an item that works with the table and adjust your tuning as necessary. Well I created a custom tuning id for the object in question using Andrew's tutorial. Is there a particular part of the script I need to include in the tuning id I created? I really don't know anything about this sort of thing, and only got this far because of Andy's "Put it in your inventory" tutorial. Any help is appreciated. Have Fun !

So I liberated the Spa Day magazine from debug and using Andrew's tutorial it can now be placed in a sims inventory, and also functions as a book (which I really like). What I can't figure out is what I need to do in order to have my new object be accepted into the inventory of the "Come and Get It" yard sale table that came with City Living so it can be sold. I thought it might be as simple as adding the collection_all tag, but that didn't seem to work. Size wise my new magazine is the same size as other collectibles, so I'm curious what I need to add or change in order for it to get into the Yard Sale table inventory so it can also be sold. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Have Fun !

Hi Andrew! The tutorial worked gangbusters. I was able to take a magazine from debug and make it both readable and inventoryable. My question is what do I have to do to keep those two function, but also be able to move my new magazine from my personal inventory to the inventory of the "Come and Get It" street store table that came with City Living? For some reason the street store table won't accept my new magazine into it's inventory. Is there some specific line of code that has to be added to the tuning to make this possible? Thanks in advance. Have Fun !

hi! I believe that by editing the texture that is black with the two gray rectangles on the warehouse should do the trick. Export the texture, and make everything black and edit the alpha channel if it has one as well. Thanks for the quick reply Simblr buddy! Apparently I changed the thing, instead of the other thing, and completely missed the thing I should have changed in the first place. You know how that goes. Now that I fixed the right thing, it's lights out and nobody home in my Palooka Personal Preservation Pod, just the way I wanted it. Thanks again! Have Fun !

I recently recolored the "Wassup Pedestration" sculpture from the Get Together expansion pack to serve a different purpose. My problem is that it lights up at night and because it's not a proper lighting fixture I can't turn it off in game, so I figure there must be a way to do it in studio. I don't want my new recolor to light up at night. What is needed to make something that is not a light, but yet lights up, not light up at night in game anymore? Is there a line in the warehouse that needs to be changed, or a tuning id that needs to be changed to stop an object from lighting up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Have Fun !

Thanks for the response Icemunmun. I have to confess that adjusting things like tuning may be beyond my abilities (and understanding for the most part). I get what you're saying though, I think. Basically, it seems the food stalls have a default mode when it comes to tuning, and as such unless someone creates a new tuning id for them, I'm left with a produce stand that doesn't look like a produce stand. Thanks again. Have Fun !

This morning I recolored the Moroccan Food Stall for a build project I'm working on. I chose this particular stand because the style of food fits my needs. All I did was recolor the texture maps, and I was very pleased with the result. That said, when I went to have a sim interact with my new food stall in game something unexpected occurred. The only two interactions available were "Buy Produce" or "Haggle". There was no longer a "Buy such and such food" option any more. All I literally did was recolor the texture maps, so I'm curious if anyone knows why the original interaction for the Moroccan Food Stall didn't remain in place. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have Fun !

Hey Un, that would be great. Also while I haven't used my own twitch channel in ages myself, I think when you stream on twitch it automatically creates a video save that people can watch at other times, so you'd essentially be killing two birds with one stone. If and when you do stream, please let me know. You can reach me directly via tumblr. Have fun !

UN, the tutorial looks great, but I am one of those people who can't learn things very well simply by reading about them, I personally learn much better by watching how things are done with a verbal explanation as the teacher is going through the process. Any chance you'd consider doing a step by step video tutorial of how you do something like this from the beginning (including appending)? I really want to start to learn how to mesh things like clothing and objects, but honestly it's really hard to find any good tutorial videos that don't assume you are already intimately familiar with blender. Blender confuses the heck out of me. Have fun !
